There are several issues that can cause Your Hyundai Starex CRDi to not start. If the battery is bad or has a weak charge it might not provide enough electricity to turn the engine over when the starter is turning. If the alternator is bad it would not be able to charge the battery and the engine will not start. The starter could be bad, either the solenoid is bad or the gear at the end of the starter where it meets the flywheel could be damaged. You could have a fuel delivery issue, a bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter could be the problem. The spark plugs might not be firing, this could be because of bad plug wires or a faulty coil.

If a Hyundai Starex CRDI won't start you will want to check the battery to make sure it is not dead.
