Why my VW Tiguan trunk wont open 2018?

If the trunk on the VW Tiguan won't open there are a couple of reasons for this. The first is that the trunk latch release is rusted or broken. If this is the case then You will not be able to get it to raise up. If this is not the issue then the lock may have jammed or broke. If this happens You may need to remove the lock and force it open to fix it. Lastly, if You are using the release from the cabin of the car then You will need to check the fuse to make sure it has power, and check the line to make sure it has not been damaged in some way.
