There are a number of reasons the touch screen in a Jeep Wrangler would fail. In order to help You diagnose, it would be helpful to know precisely HOW the touch screen is failing. Is it still showing a display, but just not accepting Your touch inputs Is it displaying all black All blue Each of these represents a common issue. An all black screen usually indicates a failure of wiring. The touch screen / head unit isn't getting power, so it's unable to display. A blue screen indicates a software failure -- there's not much You can do without having a dealership reflash the manufacturer's software. An unresponsive touchscreen usually indicates damage to the underlying digitizer; You may be able to find a point of trauma / impact on the screen if You look closely. This will, unfortunately, necessitate replacement.

The need for recalibration or a master reset causes the touch screen to stop working in the Jeep Wrangler.
