I have the manual transmission and it is great, the clutch is short and shifting is smooth. Gas mileage is surprising good. The car is very powerful and super fun to drive.

Overall the Audi s4 is a great car.
Overall I really like it. I do think they added an aftermarket exhaust so ours is a bit loud but not in a gross way. It is got a lot of get up and go when you want it to. I personally like a little more space in a vehicle. If our son is in the back, my seat needs to come forward and it blocks the driver from seeing completely out of the passenger window. It rides really smooth and for a v8 has pretty good interstate/highway gas mileage. In town isn't the greatest but also not bad for a v8. Be prepared though, if something does go wrong, it can usually be pretty expensive to fix unless you can do it yourself. It has been our most reliable car so far and overall we really enjoy it.
