It is a wonderful car to own but the maintenance expenses are going to be higher than your average car. Your insurance and registration are going to be pretty high because of the original MSRP and every fix on the car will be 1.5 times as expensive. If you can handle that, you will love this car along with the people that you drive around.
This car is the ultimate luxury. It is very big and very comfortable. It drives VERY smooth - the suspension is fantastic. The interior is very clean, classic and functional. The people in the back have plenty of room to spread out. It is a little harder to park than the average car since it is longer and wider.

The electronic part of it is very complicated.
I love everything about my car except the fact that there is no temperature gauge on the dash. I love the fact that its very spacious. It gets good gas mileage also.

The absolute worst car to purcess used ever!!!
Oil gasket( constant repair). Tons of electrical problems. (IDrive console spins around. Car speakers connect is terrible. Transmission will go down on you. Its far from a reliable vehicle to travel with. Its a no go! The vinyl falls off cabin ceiling, along with your sunroof. Terrible abs module. The car retains waterfrom the sunroof which enter you cabin. I have a 2003 745I. Dont buy the p.o.s.
