Bought it brand new in november 2016 i have put over 500,000 miles on it. The biggest issue it has had is the water pump went out at 374k. It cost about 4 grand to get replaced at the dealer. Other then that it has been great. I have used the Advanta ER-700 tires on it since the original Michelin Latitudes wooer out. I also ended up driving 7k on the spare tire and it was still fine. It has been in 3 accidents and i was fine in all 3 of them. 10/10 would recommend.

It is a good standard crossover.
I have not had any issues with my equinox. I feel very comfortable driving it, although I wish the headrest was a little more comfortable. It is easy to drive. I wish I could wirelessly connect my phone for music and the 4 cylinder takes awhile to get up to speed from stopped position.

Nice, comfortable, roomy vehicle with auto and manual drive. Plenty of power under the hood. Has excellent gas mileage. Has lots of trunk space. I love the roof rack. The vehicle has lots of power. It comes with and eco feature to save on gas. Wouldn't trade this car for the world.

Perfect vehicle for a smaller family!
I got my vehicle about 6 months ago and I absolutely love it. I have 2 younger kids and it has more than enough room for them. I have had no problems with it thus far and it does great on gas. I am easily pleased but also picky so this fit perfectly for my needs and wants. The backup camera really comes in handy also. It does not feel like I am driving a bigger vehicle even though it is bigger than my last car.

The good the bad and the shiny.
There is chrome finish on the interior by the shifter. Instead of the brushed nickel it is the high shine chrome. On sunny days and sometimes with street lights it will flash off the highly polished surface and blind you temporarily. I will say that the turning radius is much improved from the older models.

This vehicle drives well and the gas mileage is good. I wish I had more electronic features. Great space in the trunk and backseat. I would like for the passenger seat to have automatic buttons. Needs the spacers between the seats so items do not fall in the gap’s.

Equinox review of my second vehicle which is also a Chevy.
Car performance is great. Car is overall reliable with a few wear and tear on the vehicle. The equinox is a very comfort car to drive. It sits high up unlike the Chevy Malibu. It features satellite radio. At the end of each month you get a car report that identifies what is working and what items requires yuh our attention. I bought the equinox brand new. The only thing that I have had to change thus far was the battery.

I have not had any problems with my vehicle so far and it has been my daily driver since I purchased it. I have put 80,000 miles on it and it is been very reliable. The only critiques I could really have are I wish it had dual climate for heat and cooling.

I love my 2017 Chevy equinox lt!
I love my 2017 Chevrolet equinox lt! It drives very smooth and has great style. I love the seats. They are very comfortable. They are black with a red trim stitch that is so stylish. I have no problem getting my baby in and out of the car seat and it was very easy to install. The back seats also fold down so you can put a lot of cargo in.

The settings to let you know your tire pressure and oil life.
So far no problems, performs very well in the snow, very reliable. Has seat warmers, a sunroof, and has setting to show your tires air pressure, your oil life remaining, if your tire pressure get to low it signals and lets you know, same goes with oil life.

The crash alert - the car will emit a high pitched tone to alert of car crash.
The battery has died a couple times along with some electrical issues but other than that it is a great reliable vehicle that gets me to my destinations safely. In addition it is great helping to move in and out of college. The heated seats are excellent and remote start features truly help during the winter times. Great on gas and makes me feel extremely safe driving next to big trucks on the highway.

Best vehicle I have owned.
I have had the equinox for nearly 3 years. It drives amazingly. Plenty of room. The safety features are great for when you have kids. I love the access to XM radio, and the ability to manually adjust the back of your seat. The roominess in the back was enough to haul quite a few pieces from ikea with no issue.

Backseat very comfortable. The front seats lay all the way flat. Great for nap.
My only issue is that it's a 4 cylinder which I am not use to. I love a 6 cylinder. Everything else about the vehicle is great roomy and very. Very comfortable. And smooth ride. May trade in for 6 cylinder. Very nice on road trips. Not boxy like most s.U.V.S I will go for another but 6 cylinder.

The perfect ride of your life!!
My car drives very well! It does not matter if it is raining, snowing or in a muddy area, it will get the job done! The inside is comfy, very soft seats, the heating/cooling system is excellent! The size is great for a group drive on a long road trip as well!

Awesome SUV, drives well, but archaic lane departure/ warning system.
I do not like the lane notice & dash when cars are next to, or in front of you. Too obnoxious. Day 1 of owning car. Also the passenger seatbelt warning rings often, when just a purse or small light bag. Very annoying. First time it happened I thought my seat was going to be ejected, like an airplane pilot. That little 1” x 4” display, having a car appear- when I can clearly see the car in front of me- I do not need warnings as obnoxious as this to drive!

The Chevy equinox - feel safe, feel modern.
It is comfortable, and it drives as well as handles very, certainly, quite smoothly. It is a very good vehicle as I find Chevrolet make to be the best make and also my favorite make of vehicle. I feel safe in this 2017 Chevrolet equinox lt. It was a bit expensive and has a few electrical issues but not bad overall.

2016 equinox - no complaints.
No problems. The performance has been up to par - it does what is needed. It does not have all the bells and whistles but overall, comfortable and reliable car. Fits two car seats in the back with leg room and me and my husband comfortably in the front. No complaints.

We love our 2017 Equinox but don’t buy the L model. It has no navigation or txt message on the infotainment system and it does not have a tailgate release anywhere in the vehicle or on the key fob you have todo it manually

The camera is really nice.
The car is really good. It is very comfortable and the seats are nice. There is a lot of space in the back of the trunk and in the backseat. I have noticed that the breaks have been starting to act weird though and I have had the car for years. It rides well on the highway, very smooth.

I love my little SUV. There is so much room for everyone to ride comfortably. The model I have has heated seats and satellite radio. There is a lot of extra room in the trunk part. I love the size and space if my SUV!
I have no complaints about the performance of my car. It drives well, it is good on gas, I love the size. It is good for commuting back and forth to work, driving my family around and going on trips. Only downside is I can no longer play my music from my iPhone connecting the USB. I constantly get this “no music files found” message. I was able to resolve the issue, but it happens often. Now I can no longer resolve it and driving is not the same without listening to my music.

Family car and comfortable.
Only think I don't like is that it takes a whole to speed up. Or should I say it takes a bit of power to go from 40 to 60 quickly. It's a great family car. Good on gas. Comfortable on road trips and plenty of space. Love the exterior and interior. The interior looks really cool in the night.

Tire pressure problems can be dangerous.
The only real performance problem I have had is that the tires constantly losing pressure. Other than that the vehicle performs pretty well. I consider the constant loss of tire pressure to be dangerous the tire can come off the rim when making a turn and cause an accident.

My Chevy is great & very low maintenance.
My vehicle drives very well. It has plenty of room for passengers or cargo. Get excellent gas mileage & easy to maintain. It drives good in the city as well as the country. Spacious and efficient vehicle.
I have not had any problems with the vehicle. The transmission lurches a little when it shifts gears. However, it is spacious and great for road trips. Because it had a taller roof than, say, a Subaru, may family prefers to take my car. There’s just more room than most compact SUVs.

It is a very reliable car. There's a lot of room in the front and back seats. The back also has a lot of room for carrying anything I need. It is cheap on gas considering its a SUV. It's very comfortable for long rides. I haven't had any issues, since buying it new in 2017.

When I need a new car, I am buying another Chevy equinox!
After three years of driving, I have had zero major issues. I have only had to replace the battery recently. Gas mileage - both city and highway - is great. I was very impressed with the amount of space in the back of my car. I have been able to haul small pieces of furniture with no issues. My equinox is very comfortable even on long trips.

No issues drives nice and is very comfortable for traveling long routes, good on gas and reliability. I haven't yet driven in the winter months but it is AWD so I do not foresee any issues. Very spacious back seats can be pushed down to create more trunk room if needed for storage.

Busy family, dependable vehicle.
My Chevrolet equinox, is the best. It has taken us on family vacations without any problems. I would highly recommend a family of four, for this vehicle. Features: OnStar, touch screen, electric windows, Wi-Fi’s, XM radio, message center and electric drivers seat adjuster. My cons are that my windows are not tinted, so it gets super hot in the vehicle, no CD player. We frequently travel as a family of 4, 5 if you count our dog. This is a great family car!

It is a great vehicle! It has comfortable heated seats, Sirius XM radio, and smooth feel. The gas mileage is really great for someone just starting out and for someone who doesn't like cars low to the ground, this is the perfect size with no blind spots. This car is a durable, spacious mid-sized SUV. I have had my Chevy equinox for 3 years now and it still performs as well as when I first bought it. One downside to this model is that there are not vents in the back seat, which cuts down on air flow. This vehicle comfortably seats 5 with generous leg space. I can easily fit me, my husband, our son, and our 2 medium dogs in with extra trunk space for luggage. The gas mileage is average and good for long travels. There is a touch screen monitor in the front that is ideal for audio, navigation, and other activities. The interior is sleek and comfortable.

Equinox is awesome! Great for a family of 5 and sometimes a few more.
We are really happy with our equinox! With 3 teens, it offers plenty of room without feeling like our previous minivan like hauler. The size feels just right with lots of storage and cupholders, places to plug things in and legroom for all including the occasional grandparent!

The touch screen in the front of the car.
The car is a great size for easy parking, and the features inside are great. There are seat heaters, excellent speakers, a great navigation system and touch screen. There are enough plugs to charge your phones and other devices and the trunk is a great size for packing luggage, picking up groceries and other things. The only problem is that the tire pressure is constantly low, which means you have to put air in them almost every other week or so. Other than that, the car has been very reliable and the gas mileage is great as well.

Wish I had done some research but a great car nonetheless.
Not as big as I thought it would be. I upgraded from a 2008 impala and lost trunk space... But I needed something that was bigger for the passengers, and it was. It a great car for what I needed and could afford at the time. Wish I had realized the difference in the impala engine and the equinox engine. But overall, it is a smooth and reliable ride. Chevy forever!

Great/safe/affordable vehicle.
The only complaint I really have is that the equinox’s seem to use up oil more than others. As long as you watch the oil, they seem to be great vehicles. They handle well and they have great safety features including backup camera, lane assist, and collision warning.

Roomy and trouble free 2017 equinox.
My equinox is comfortable for my family of four. I have two children under the age of two and we carry lots of baby gear with us as you can imagine. Beautiful design and quite roomy.
Little small for an SUV however it is roomy enough for my family of 4. I love the fact that it is so easy on gas which is easy on my wallet. The car does not have much power or pull to it but it is a 4 cylinder after all. The car rides pretty smooth as long as you get new tires as needed and also keep them rotated as needed. The vehicle drives ok in the winter months my only concern is how lightweight it is and sometimes that can be a disadvantage. I love the look and design of the car. We previously owned a ford escape and we were actually going to buy a newer model but after seeing and test driving the Chevy equinox we ultimately decided to go with it. The interior is nice and comfortable however I do not like the design of the air vents on the dashboard because it does not provide good air flow and circulation into the back seat. Another big disadvantage to the car is that it only uses synthetic oil and that is more expensive. We paid almost $90 for our last oil change and that is fairly expensive where we live.

It's a great and reliable vehicle. Great in all weather conditions. I wish I had gotten the lt which has an upgraded infotainment system. The vehicle is very comfortable. You can adjust the leg room in the backseat by sliding the entire bench seat forward using a lever. Great family car.

Perfect for a small family.
Love my equinox! It is the perfect size for my family of 4. The rear seat can be adjusted for more leg room/trunk space. The only drawback is that there are no rear air vents so it was an uncomfortable ride when my youngest was in a rear-facing car seat.

Overall performance of my equinox.
The pick up in the vehicle is slower than I anticipated and a lot slower than in my dodge nitro. The air circulation in the back is not evenly distributed. The windshield glass chips easily. I have had to replace it 3 times as well as the back window. The features on the truck are great. But if you are looking for speed this truck will not deliver.

Comfy, easy driving, with great features.
Love the heated seats and satellite radio. It is big enough to be able to put the seats down and move furniture or do a big shopping. Love that is tells me the tire pressure and oil percentage. Has Sirius satellite radio and lets you set up I think 30 fav channels. I have had to change the vvt solenoid and then a few months later the check engine light came on again for the same issue, so not sure what's going on there.

Needs more power. Very comfortable vehicle and rides really well on interstate. Could have a little more room. Always keep the oil changed and all of maintenance up to date and any car will last longer. Comes with Michelin tires and alloy wheels. All in all a good ride.

Comfortable and stylish Equinox.
I love the comfort and style of the Chevy Equinox. I love the fact that it is all wheel drive and I can get around safely in the winter time. My Equinox is 4WD so I get great gas mileage. I also have a sunroof and heated seats which is perfect for MI winters.

Spacious, comfortable, has heated seats as well as a backup cam. I can move the back seat more forward or backward depending on my needs. It has a sunroof, as well as a hitch attachment should I need to pull anything. The trunk has decent space as well.

It's an all around solid vehicle and I really enjoy driving it
I really like the comfort and space on the inside. The back seat can be moved back and forth to give more or less cargo room. The vehicle is comfortable on long rides. I like the sensors on the mirrors that show someone's in the blind spot. I enjoy the heated seats in the winter and I have used the Wifi in the summer. It comes in handy for vacations.

I really like the size of the vehicles, it is not too big or too small and it is very easy to navigate and park. I have the 4 cylinder drive and sometimes I think it has problems with acceleration. My favorite features are the heated seats, the rear window wipers and the Bluetooth connection as well at the tire pressure gauge.

Seeing the USA in a Chevrolet'.
I have not had any problems with this vehicle. Starts every time - love the remote start, especially in the winter with 2 foot of snow out there. The heated seats are awesome. I am a tad bit on the short side, so being able to have my seats higher and forward have been great - very good safety issue to me. I feel very comfortable and secure and safe when I drive my equinox, especially when my granddaughter is with me. Oh, the mileage is really good.

It gets great gas mileage. It is good looking and comfortable. It does not have great pick up, is the only downside, but for this gas milage, I am OK with that!

Love my Chevy equinox... Dependable and comfy.
I bought my car brand new almost 4 years ago. I haven't had any issues with it besides replacing the battery. I love my car! It is reliable and comfortable. It is perfect for a young adult without or only having one kid. Adequate room are a car seat. And there is plenty of space in the back.

It is the perfect mommy car ever.
It drives really smooth, I love the XM radio feature and how the seats fold down. It does not pick up speed fast is my only complaint. It is roomy for two car seats and perfect for road trips. It does great on gas and oil. It has a added feature to alert you when both are low.

Chevy Equinox is Best ride in its class
Rides smoother than any other vehicle I have driven or test driven. This is my 2nd Equinox and I have had zero problems other than a manufacturer recall. Comfortable and spacious for driver and passengers. The car is fairly good on gas and it's been extremely reliable.

Spacious inside for a crossover SUV. And great room in the hatch.
The system turns on and turns my music off randomly without touching it and says "phonebook update failed". It's ridiculous!

Safety qualities and is good on gas. The style is great to look at.
I like the ride it is gas efficient, the safety quality and the style of my car. It is a smooth quiet ride. The price is reasonable for such a nice car.

Very comfortable and custom details, very roomy inside.
Very comfortable, line of sight is not great, wish it had a better engine, has lots of room inside. Like the custom features, not bad on gas mileage, lots of cup holders, I like to have the sunroof feature, I like the back windshield wiper feature, I like the custom colors.

Great car, watch time and Bluetooth.
Super comfortable with adjusting seats. Haven't had any problems starting the car or driving. It is slightly on the bigger side so you have to take the turns carefully. The time display sometimes is off by about 15 minutes but it is fixed itself every time within about 2 minutes. Currently having an issue connecting with phone Bluetooth.

The Chevrolet Equinox is the perfect size for anything from minor shopping to a major vacation with a few people.
This is my third Equinox. It drives well in all types of weather and has decent pickup for speeding up. It does bog down when the A/C is on. The ride is comfortable and so is the upholstery. My first Equinox had scratchy fabric on the seats, but they've fixed that. It's got a good amount of legroom and storage and is a great little SUV.

Why does it have no CD player?
I love the sunroof. I use it as much as possible. I love the way it drives, handles & the great gas mileage. I don't like that it has no CD player.

I love my car it is safe and reliable.
I love the comfort and reliability that my vehicle offers. It is smooth riding and has plenty of room for my family. The gas mileage is perfect as well because I travel far for work. I usually get about 45 miles per gallon. It is also easy in and out for my disabled mother.

Equinox is comfortable and reliable with great features.
Brakes seem to have gone a little fast. I love my heated seats and the remote start. I also love how big the car is without feeling oversized. Great trunks space and room in the back. The seats are comfortable too. My car has not given me any problems. I will consider getting another.

Its has a good size. Trunk and back seat.
Rides good. Safety rating is good. Has a remote start. Is very dependable. Has great heated seats. And that is all.

I would recommend this vehicle it is truly been good to me.
I have had my car since February 2017 and it is been great. It is good on gas and sits comfortably 5 passengers with a lot of legroom for those that are taller. I have cloth seats and they are plush and comfortable as well. This is good for long road trips. Nice trunk and storage area. The center touch screen radio is kind of a far reach from driver side. The only repairs I have had to have within the 3 years that I have had this vehicle is replacing the back struts and routine oil changes. Overall I can say that I truly enjoy my vehicle.

Wonderful vehicle great for families.
My Chevy equinox has all the features in it that I want and it is very good for my family this reading is awesome. It gives me where I want to go and it is the first vehicle that I have ever had so I really appreciate it. I am taking it on many excursions and camping trip. I just really love it.

Terrible gas hog, and would not buy again.
My equinox lt AWD has no power and is a gas hog, but works to get around in. Expensive for what it is. Pleasant ride, though. Big enough for an old woman to take laundry to the laundromat I Would not buy again mainly because of it being a terrible gas hog. Fixed income does not like that.
