2020 Honda Accord Reviews

Bought my 2021 accord not that long ago but so far I absolutely love it!! Between the gas mileage sand the sun roof I would definitely recommend an accord to everyone ranging from new drivers, parents to the elderly. Did lots of research on it before I purchased the car and they gave excellent safety ratings too. When driving while on the highway, interstate or just back roads I feel extremely comfortable and like I have the car under control at all times. Just absolutely am in love with the Honda accord.

The vehicles performance is great. When driving on the freeway the gas can get up to 37 mpg. Vehicle is very updated, eye-level screen viewing, the brightness can be adjusted very easy but the font is very clear. Compared to my other vehicle (mercedes-benz) the drive is not as smooth. Pick up for speed is great, no hesitation. The tan leather interior never gets too hot which is important while living in Arizona. Has heated and cooling seats in the front. Back seat leg room is very comfortable and roomy. In terms of reliability, the dealership I purchased the vehicle from has been very consistent with reaching out and doing check-ups on how happy I am with the vehicle. The windshield has advanced safety features, rain detection, blind-spot monitoring. The distance control lets you adjust the distance to other vehicles and adjusts itself back when in cruise control.

First time owner of a 2020 Honda accord. Drove 5000 miles without an issue. Now I feel it unsafe to drive on any open highway or 2 lane local highway as the steering is faulty. There is a drifting and the very uncomfortable "sticking/hitch/dead space return in the steering wheel/column at highway speeds. I have to actually slightly nudge/pop the steering back straight when driving. This happens constantly and is very unsafe. Almost impossible to keep the car straight on the road with out constantly having to "pop" the steering wheel slightly in the opposite direction from the drift. Definitely a steering issue and not an alignment issues as I took it to the dealership and they did a minor adjustment of the tire balance without effect or a fix to the problem. The problem is severe enough that I will no longer drive it on a highway at normal speeds. I hope this gets the attention of Honda and a Recall effort takes place.

So wee traded my wife’s 2018 CRV Touring in on a brand new 2020 Accord Touring for something sportier. I just stuck my permanent tag on the car w/2500 miles on it two days ago. This morning my wife calls me and says the transmission trouble light is on. Ok, doesn’t sound like a too big of a deal, it’s a Honda, so she limps it the 1.5 miles to our Honda dealer and drops it off. So here’s what I got just now on my “UPDATE : Tech line had him take some snap shots while driving, had him flush the fluid 3 times, and have him run some updates. After all those tests they have advised us to replace the ENTIRE transmission. We are in the process of getting our District Honda rep to approve this repair. This is usually just a technicality. I would expect the vehicle to be completed around the middle to the end of next week. Once I have the transmission in house I should be able to get you a more accurate time frame.” Ummm wow folks, a new car with 2500 miles on it, and I just drove it on a trip last week with no issues or hint of any transmission issues. Needless to say I will not recommend this car as This 50 yr old has purchased cars around every 2-3 years and in 30+ yrs (yes we’ve owned a lot of cars and brands) I’ve NEVER had a problem like this with a car! It’s unbelievable, go look at something else like a Camry...a brand new car with a broke transmission!

The vehicle has a great mileage per gas tank, I have found this vehicle to be a really good gas saver. The vehicle is also very comfortable starting from the very spacious front seat. The back is very specious you can easily fit three adults riding in the back seats with enough space for their body and legs. This car is also a great car for a couple who are planning on expanding their family because the space in the back is great for car seats. The vehicle also car back camera which is a great feature especially for a person in the la area due to reckless drivers. The car also has amazing features such as line sensors which truly help you stay in your driving lane specially when driving in the highway. The car also has a break sensor which has goes on when you are tailgating or getting to close to another vehicle. The car has features like calibrating your tires when one happens to be flat to make sure that the car is balance until you are able to arrive to a destination in which you can fix your tire. The only problem I will find with this vehicle is that the car is quite wide and long and as every person that lives in la knows it can be a big factor when finding parking.

My Honda is really the best it is very spacious and has a nice sleek design. It is a sports car and drives really smooth unlike the Honda civic that I had before this one. It is has personal air control for each side of the car, keyless entry and apple carplay. My favorite part about the car would have to be the safety features. The 2020 accord has braking assistance so if you get too close to a car it will automatically brake for you, lane departure assistance also helps keep you alert, if you happen to swerve outside of your lane it will push you back over and the last best thing is the cruise control, it is helps you relax your feet by automatically slowing down when you get close to a car so all you have to do is turn it on and steer.

I really love this car because it is great on gas and has a sport feature that will go faster and save my gas when I am on the freeway. This car is also a eye catcher which I really love. I have not had any issues with this car and I would advise anyone looking for a car that is nice for them but also for their teen. This car has many safety features such as brake lock that will make the car brake once you stopped completely without having to hold the pedal. It also breaks when you are getting very close to another car to prevent collision.

Overall I must say the 2020 Honda accord sport is an amazing purchase for anyone looking for a reliable car with a low use of gas per miles traveled. The vehicle is equipped with maintenance feature which keeps track of the oil quality in your car and lets you know when to take it to get serviced. The vehicle has plenty of room in it and is easily maintained even with two kids. This car surprised me in many ways but did fail me in two areas I would of like to see more effort put into. My first issue is that although they have three viewing options on the back up camera the quality of the camera is surprisingly poor compared with the camera on my previous 2019 vehicle from Kia. Whenever it rains the camera actually get blurry in it view. My second complaint is with the suspension in the car itself make for a bumpy ride over the smallest of bumps in the road. Beside those two flaws I would say this car is good for anyone.

I've had my car for less than a month. Recently saw warnings on the dash about collision mitigation system, lane departure system etc . CRM issue. Took it to the Honda dealership. They said my front Honda Sensing radar is out of place and I might have hit something or got hit by a car backing up . I said no, I didn't runover anything other than the normal bumps on the highway and my front end has no scratches , no accidents. They said it would cost $300+ to fix it. In my option the radar wasn't attached properly in the first place , u just can't imagine Honda would make such a sensitive radar , when you have rough roads out there etc. So I'm battling that out with the dealership . Other than that it's a pretty decent car I guess.

I have honda 2018 has only 22.000 ml on it . Rainy day the car wont start wasn't the battery. Was told my engine has water inside it . And I need the call my insurance to have them replaced it for me ... So unfair...my car in very excellent condition not even on scratch on it ..never drove on flooded roads, always parked at private parking. Honda metro route 440 were very very rude they only care about making money ..assistant manager got nasty with me by telling me eighter you fixed at our place through ur insurance or take it back and we going to start charging for storage..not happy with all that called my insurance and they sending someone to look at the engine . So depressing. New car and the engine gone and they wont tell me where that water came from ..Bought my car at honda mahwah. Nj

Going from a 4 yr old car with all the bells and whistles to a new car without them... I am still trying to adjust. I like that even the lower models come with features like backup camera, lane warnings and automatic brakes for accidents. The white on white is just beautiful and the new 'fabric' interior used is a very nice quality. I am not found of the lack of an automatic start or the fact that you have to press the key fob buttons for everything. The car has to be off to pop the trunk which is an unnecessary hustle and extra step. I love how roomy it is. The lower model already has tint on the windows. The console screen is of a low quality (compared to the Chevy I had) and small. Hondas are great for trade in value so that is another plus.

No test drove 2 2020 honda accords and the AC is terrible not cold and it feels humid. So i asked the salesman i want to see your mechanic. So we went out back to the shop. Hw checked it and said its blowing at 48 degrees. In deep at the vent. But the air coming out was not cold and it was humid. The mech. Tells me 110 outside you have to drive for 15 to 20 min. And he said you have to understand this has the new freon 1234yr. I told him thats ridiculous. I used to work on ac systems and the honda system is poorly designed do not buy. So went to see toyota camry. Beautiful purchased 2020 se sport. Funny same new freon. Ac blowing perfect. And no road noise like the accord. The tire road noise is loud. The Toyota camry very low tire road noise. Go with the toyota. Youll be satisfied. Hot her in ca.
