It is a hardtop convertible.
Reliable car from the day I purchased it 1. 5 years ago. Have yet to have any maintenance done on it. Starts up immediately, runs great with cold a/c in las Vegas heat. It has comfortable leather seats. It has convertible option during mild weather. Perfect car for us.

Is The 2000 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class A Good Car?
Yes, SLK230 is an excellent driving machine. I've had no problems with Benz and I love this car! Handles the road very well & still gets decent gas mileage. Low maintenance cost is a huge plus.
