Great SUV for family and fun.
This is a great smaller SUV. We have done so much with this car. We are able to do home projects, carry wood, sod, and furniture. The car is comfortable for longer drives and fits both kids and the dog in the backseat with room. We had some engine issues a couple years ago that was causing it to overheat but it was still reliable and running. Once it was fixed there were no issues.

The mercury mariner is an amazing car!
The interior is very nice and the seats are very comfortable for long car rides. They have heated seats as well. I have not had a lot of issues with the car expect the battery but all that needed to happen was a battery change. The lights are nice and bright as well. The sound system is very nice too, never had trouble hearing anything. The steering wheel leather became discolored after years and years of use.

Very nice model. Too bad ford did away with mercury.
So far there has been no problems with my vehicle. It is a four cylinder and pretty good with pick up and go. It is a very basic vehicle that I like. The size is very good for easy handling. There is enough legroom for me since I am very short.

Enjoy Bluetooth capability and happy that it is not as “smart” as new vehicles.
Great handling and gas mileage, great for our animals because of rear folding seats. There is no gas cap which is nice and clean when gassing up. Only issue is the air conditioner compressor which needs a blast every year to seal system. Highly recommend this SUV.

Reliable vehicle for everyday driving.
It runs really well, it is extremely light so having weight in the back for iced roads is a must, amazing on gas mileage, been driving it for over 100k miles and barely any issues besides the standard flat tire, seat warmers work well (too well in my opinion).

The mariner is a reliable car and good for new drivers.
The mariner is a pretty reliable vehicle. I have only had minor issues and most problem are related to the age of car and not how it was built. It would be a nice first car for your kids. I really like the layout and it has some good technical features for its age. I really love it and am sure anyone else will.

Ford cars rust too soon after purchase.
I like the mariner. However, it began to rust prematurely. This should not have happened at all. Cars now often do not rust at all. Modern cars, such as my 2011 mariner, usually either never rust or do so much later in the cars lifespan. This continues to be a major disappointment about this vehicle.

Simple and effective. Easy, simple, low cost service.
This vehicle is reliable and cost effective. The car has been simple to maintain over the years with no major problems. The mood lighting is fun, especially when a good song comes on. Although it is a 2011 it still holds up well with all the new add-ons to vehicles, I will keep it as long as I am possible.

Mercury mariner is a great family SUV..
Nice leather seats with seat warmers which is great for the winter. It can hold u.K. To five people with good space in the back for luggage and a luggage rack on top. Drives smooth. Drives great in the winter. Good gas mileage for SUV. The electric window open option is great but has broken twice during winter when I try to open a window.. It does not speed up as fast as I would like when stopped at a stop sign it takes me longer to get to regular speed.

Mercury mariner premier 8/10.
My car is awesome for the most part but there are some electrical issues and my tire sensors keep going crazy but. Perfect soccer mom car! It has a big truck and extra storage plus the back seats lay down for added storage and it is great on gas I pay about 25 to fill it up and it last about a week.
