Love my mercury mariner so much! Never want it to break down.
I absolutely love my 2010 mercury mariner. It is extremely reliable and rarely had any issues. Super comfortable and practical for trips. Perfect car for me. Plenty of room in trunk for storage and backseat is big enough for my dogs. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get one!!

2010 mercury mariner, great car for an active lifestyle.
Drives nicely, handles smoothly, the engine compartment is large and spacious which makes maintenance easier. When well cared for this car is very reliable and safe. Decent gas mileage, the capless gas tank is a great feature. Lots of storage space in the center console and trunk. Back seats fold down to make more space. Roof rack is great for kayaks, canoes, furniture, etc. Minimal blind spots/great visibility, capable of making tight turns and climbing steep inclines, does well on unpaved road as well.

Best car I have ever owned.
I love this car. It is reliable. I haven't had any issues outside of the normal wear and tear. I drove this car about 300 miles one trip and it was comfortable and I had enough room to breath. Miles to the gallon are amazing as well. I only fill up once or twice a week and I drive a good distance for work.

Highly recommendable vehicle.
I love my truck. It drives well, and when I avoided a head on collision, my truck protected me. It is reliable and comfortable, even sitting for a long drive. The only issues it has had are the normal maintenance issues you find with any vehicle. Highly recommend.

Great car I would suggest it to families.
It doesn't have as much get up and go as I d like. It's comfortable and has set warmers and a moon roof which I love. I also really like colors and the leather seats. I like the music options and keyless entry. I have a remote starter in which is great in winter.

My review on my car’s details.
I really love this car it is amazing in many ways it might be a older version but it this car never failed me yet. It does not take a lot of money to fill the car up and the car features are wonderful. The thing I like most about the car is the way it drives on the street real smooth.

You can program key to have max speed and volume and put in a pin to disable it.
It is a pretty nice SUV, I like the feeling of being up higher and you have a good view of other cars and your surroundings so it is a good beginner car, but mine is used, so there are problems. Mainly, my first concern is that it is not great on gas, so it is not great for long distance drivers. However, it is a very comfortable car and has an easy aux hook-up, I never figured out the Bluetooth with it, but I do not really care to because the aux is easy.

Mariner is a good vehicle for grandma.
At ten years old my vehicle is showing signs of age. I have replaced the door glass. I need to replace the rear door struts and mechanism. Other than that no big problems. I don't drive as much since I retired so that may be helping. It still get good mileage and is tall enough in traffic to make me feel safe.

Heated seats, and variable floorboard lights.
When I purchased the vehicle, it was a great starter for our small family. The only problem that came across was a call back for the power steering. The performance of the vehicle is great. I have no complaints. It has been and very reliable vehicle with minor but common issues such as new tires, and oil changes.

The mercury mariner is a good car.
It is a great car, got it used for cheap. I love the leather seats and the built in touch screen. I wish it was a little better on gas but other than that it's been a great car so far, haven't had any major problems. It even has a backup camera. It has a very good sound system as well.

Nice vehicle for the year.
Overall great vehicle. Rides really well. Decent gas mileage. Like that can use e85 and unleaded. Not able to tow the best for being a smaller SUV. Cleans up easy with leather seats. Parts are easy to find even with it being an older vehicle now.

Good all round vehicle for town or country.
Not so good on gas, I get an average of around 21 mpg. I have had few problems mechanically even though it has done 150k. It is reasonably comfortable with good ac and heated seats. The 3 liter motor is a little noisy and so is the transmission but that is to be expected with all wheel drive.
accountCircle Grady F on December 20, 2020
Decent, yet far from great.
The mercury mariner is a great daily driver. I usually get around 20 miles per gallon off the highway and 22 miles per gallon while on the highway. I have had a couple issues with the car, however. The ac is a struggle to get going in the summer, water sometimes leaks in from the sunroof, and it hiccups when accelerating.

Great value, numerous features.
The cars performance after 10 years is still in great quality. I rarely have to get work done on it. I consider it to be highly reliable. Since it is older, it is starting to rust and creek more. Features include a sunroof, heated seats, great speakers, a larger trunk, and keyless entry. It is a great car for younger adults looking to save money.

This car is great and has good tires.
My car runs very well and it runs very smooth. I have a back up assistance that beeps if it gets close to anything. That really helps me. The car is also very roomy. It has a nice sound system in it and the air conditioner runs well. It is a nice car I cannot complain.

I love my mercury mariner and it is reliability and durability.
The 2010 mercury mariner is great and reliable! I haven’t had any big issues with it. About 84,000 miles on it and just as of recent (about a couple of weeks ago after someone rear-ended me) I can feel the gears switching/ the transmission changing gears.

Mariner is old but still functions well.
I have had my car for over 5 years now and it was used before that, so it is not in great shape anymore. That being said, it has held up really well over time and has been a very reliable car. The features are fairly outdated compared to the new functions that many cars have, but it has Bluetooth capabilities.

That is some good gas mileage.
My vehicle gets pretty good gas mileage. I have lots of storage room for traveling. Love the sunroof! Takes on large hills with no hesitation, love that. I do wish it say a bit higher. Didn't have any issue with starting until after gas tank recall.

My car has been reliable for the past ten years.
My car has been reliable for the past ten years. Only a handful of vehicle problems in ten years. I love the sunroof and Bluetooth. Easy to use. My car has been reliable for the past ten years. Only a handful of vehicle problems in ten years. I love the sunroof and Bluetooth. Easy to use.

The stock speakers are actually really nice!
The car runs pretty smooth but the engine light comes on every once in awhile and then goes away the next day. Other than that I haven’t had many issues with the car. Occasionally it gets a weird noise when driving, but the car is 10 years old now so that is to be expected. The lights on the dashboard do not always work which is a bummer, but not a deal breaker.
accountCircle Nicki E on August 31, 2020
The fact that you can change the lights inside the car to different colors.
Window track has failed on all 4 windows. The tire pressure system fault is broken. When going into the next gear it shifts hard. The back rear door does not open all the time even when doors are unlocked. Air conditioner is broken even though it's been fixed numerous times.

2010 mercury mariner voga edition with leather seats.
I purchased my 2010 mercury mariner in 2016. I love this vehicle. I have had no major problems with this. It is very good in the snow. And a nice vehicle for a long drive. It rides nice, and it is nice and roomy. Other than normal maintenance, like oil changes, tires, etc. This vehicle has not needed any major repairs.
accountCircle Cassie R on July 31, 2020
Auto repairs needed but love.
I absolutely love the look and features this car has. It fits all my needs and is reliable enough that I never worry about it breaking down. It is had its share of auto repair visits, but only one was a spendy fix. Otherwise, it drives smooth, has great Bluetooth features, is big enough to protect me on the road, and look classy. Overall, love my purchase and hope to keep this car running for as long as possible.

2010 mercury mariner - okay for the money, but not my favorite vehicle by far.
The transmission does not shift smoothly. The gas mileage is okay at 24.5 mpg. It has a sunroof and leather. The hatch switch is inoperable and the only access to the back is through the glass that opens on the hatch. There has been relatively low maintenance throughout the life of the vehicle.
accountCircle Jon C on July 16, 2020
Extremely reliable and low maintenance.
My vehicle has only had a few minor problems in the time I have had it. Those include a universal joint issue, a fuel pump issue, and a roof leaking issue. The vehicle has never had any major issues. I use it as a squad car for my employment at my fire department. The vehicle can handle moderately high speeds at 65-100 mph with no issues. The fuse boxes are well placed and convenient for wiring many types of resources such as radios, lights, sirens, control heads and more. I am very pleased with my mercury mariner.

My experience with the mercury mariner 2010.
The mariner has heated seats that are great and an upright seating that is comfortable to drive. I have had a lot of rust around door jambs and fender wells and lift gate. Had problems with battery and joints overall good SUV will probably last a 150,000 miles or so.

Great mid-size family car.
This car is very comfortable, even after driving it for hours at a time. I enjoy the steering wheel as it has volume and radio controls, as well as the cruise control controls. The center console has a lot of space for storage, and the cup holders are a good size. The backseat has a lot of space for kids, but is a bit cramped for adults. The back of the car has good space for trips, groceries, or basic car storage. Overall, a very reliable car. I rarely have issues with it mechanically.
accountCircle Heather R on February 11, 2020
Overall great car for a small family.
I have had no problems with my vehicle, it is very comfortable and reliable but not very big and the trunk is rather small for an SUV. I have got 127,000 miles and my cars still running great all I have had to replace is beakes rosters and tie rod. Otherwise a great car.
accountCircle Serafina C on February 10, 2020
Why I like my mercury mariner.
I love the size of my car. It has great suspension but I wish my car and more horse power. My car is a 2 cylinder and I would prefer at least a 6 cylinder car. I did have to replace the transmission recently, which was a pricy fix. Other than that my car is great, almost perfect.
accountCircle Pat B on December 5, 2019
My low mileage 2010 mariner.
Due to back problems I needed a vehicle that I could get in and out of easily. My vehicle has had very little problems, it is easy to drive and is comfortable to sit in. It has heated seats and four wheel drive so I have no problems getting through the winter. It starts no matter the temperature outside.
accountCircle Ann J on November 6, 2019
Mercury mariner, such a good vehicle.
Very good on gas, comfortable, rides nice! Handles well on long trips and a bonus is the back seats fold down for carrying larger items. Easy child safety seat installation with clips in seat and on roof to ensure safety. I am very happy that I found this car for sale!

I love my mariner—best SUV I have ever owned.
110,000 miles on it and it runs like brand new. Sure, things have had to be repaired or replaced in 10 years but nothing major. I pay attention to it which I believe is essential for a long life. Change the oil, filters, check tires, have them rotated and balanced regularly and annual check ups to avoid future issues. I believe it will last another 110,000 miles.
accountCircle Viviana A on July 16, 2019
My car has minor issues one after the other but luckily it is still in good.
Minor issues occur one after the other. Runs well but seems to have brake troubles often. Leaks come through the roof in several places. The acceleration could be better. Always have trouble trying to keep up with other cars because acceleration is so slow.
accountCircle Jonathan V on June 17, 2019
2010 mercury mariner is a decent small sized SUV for daily driving.
It runs good and has not had much mechanical issues. However, it has severe rust in the rear fenders and this affects inspections if severe. Also the strut mounts rust and eventually can lead to the shock pushing into the interior trunk space. It has cruise control,Bluetooth, backup camera, heated seats and other features. It is very comfortable and good on gas also averaging 22 in city and 26 on highway.

Dependable, sturdy family car.
My 2010 mercury mariner has excellent performance, with very little problems within the 2 years owning it. Like any vehicle, it has the 2-3 times a year oil change. Just recently we have gotten the brakes worked on. It has even supported a 7 hour road trip.
accountCircle Tori S on February 9, 2019
Love that the back window opens up without opening the trunk also the sun roof.
Very comfortable but has a lot of problems with the brake system. It is a perfect balance between a SUV and sedan. Works great for my small family of three. I would definitely get the AWD version of the vehicle get more bang for your buck over all good vehicle.

Great features and comfort.
It has leather seats, moonroof/sunroof, power driver's seat, Bluetooth radio/calling capabilities, satellite radio, automatic headlights, an auto ac/heat setting and rear park aids. I really like this vehicle, it is very comfortable and has a smooth ride.
