It's probably the best value for money in the Porsche line.
The car has been extremely reliable. It's fun to drive and handles very nicely. It's good value for money.

My opinion of the Porsche Cayman.
It is a great car but unfortunately it has a manual transmission. Some people prefer that but now that I drive it I realize I would rather have an automatic. Other than that the car is awesome. The speed is great. It handles great. I would like some modern technology like apple carplay.

A few needs in my Cayman S
My car has been great. I bought it used 3 years ago from a doctor in Oregon and he babied it. It started life as a rental in Hawaii, then to Texas and it was wholesale to a dealer. Now I have it and love it. I have had to replace the headliner as here in the desert it cam down. I also had th have the passenger side carpet pulled and put back in place. All this was done in a Top Shop in Phoenix for a little over $250 and in 4 hours. Other then minor service and new tires at 41k miles it is wonderful. The car is fast and handles better then my two previous Carreras. I gave the rating of 4 stars only because I am 6ft. 3inchs tall at 235 lbs and do not fit well but I love my Macadamia Brow Cayman S.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled James M.

I like to be tucked into a tight little race car. The engine is very powerful. I like small nimble cards rather than large SUVs. I also like the way it looks. I did get the color that I wanted. Thank you.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled James M.

This car has only two seats. The car was very expensive to purchase and is also very expensive to maintain. It is not good in the snow. With no back seat there is nowhere to throw my gym back when driving my daughter to school unless I want to put it in the truck - which I do not.
