A very good little cute car for small family.
This tiny two-seater was one of our lowest-rated cars, though it is good on gas, a snap to park, and easily sparks conversations. Access to the cabin is very easy and the seats are comfortable too. Power comes from a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine that does a decent job keeping up with traffic, but the smart is very slow accelerating from a stop. It also has a harsh ride, clumsy handling, and an automated manual transmission that has the worst shift quality we've ever experienced. Gear changes are awkwardly executed, causing the car to pause and heave, which rocks occupants fore and aft. We've measured 39 mpg overall, but the smart requires premium fuel. And, truth be told, given its size, the car really should return much better fuel economy.

Purpose built and a lot of fun.
I have a 30 minute commute to work every week day and I was speeding 80$ a week in gas with my other vehicle. I decided to get a small compact economy car that would stand out and the smart fortwo was just that. It is very underpowered and has little cargo space but it gets me to work and back with no issues and you can't help but smile when you are driving around in something the size of a golf cart. Also it is rear wheel drive and manual so as a car enthusiasts I have a lot of possibility to make the car drive and perform how I want. The downside is a lot of parts are imported from Europe and hard to find local should it break, but they are extremely cheap compared to another full sized sedan or SUV.

Get a smart fortwo, she will not let you down. The alarm is not that bad, lol.
A lot of people see the smart for two and think wow that car is so tiny. I have fit an entire month's worth of grocery’s in the trunk, 2 suitcases and more. It has not let me down yet. However recently the alarm started going off for no reason at about 4 hours after using it, apparently it has to do with a defective switch in the hood.

Size matters... Leaves a small environmental footprint.
Zippy, easy to maneuver, good gas mileage, absolutely adorable and unique, very affordable, can park anywhere but there are not enough service centers for warranty work and you have to find repair shops that know what they're doing, not great in snow over four inches, blows around in the wind and requires special tires for rain.

Good gas mileage
Love the look. It fits my life style

It is a two seater with no trunk, but is more roomy than it appears.
I haven't had much issue with my vehicle with the exception of getting the oil changed. The engine is located in the back of the vehicle as opposed to the front. Most people do not have the experience in replacing the oil or doing much of anything related to the car.

Smart car review/ pros and cons of a reliable vehicle.
My vehicle gets great gas mileage and can fit in most every parking spot. It has been reliable and the service through the dealership has been consistent. There have been random electrical issues- like consistently connecting my iPhone to the speakers and the cup holders are way too small for regular cup sizes.
