The size is perfect with seating for 8. Comfort is great. The third row which is usually uncomfortable for cars with three rows is comfortable. I like the look and appreciate they keep consistent with the same style in new models.
Drives nice. Looks good runs smooth. Nice and roomy. Lots of space for the family. Great on gas. Doesn't need a lot of maintenance drives good in all weather conditions. It's a family vehicle and even the dog fits in with plenty of room to spare.
Good gas mileage, roominess, large storage and cargo space, third row seat, ease of putting seats and lift gate up and down, price for value, good resale, handles well even in tight spaces, kid friendly.
Expensive with gas. I do not like how small the graphic screen is on dash. It seems many other car types have increased the size of the graphics on dash, while I feel my screen looks outdated. I love my sunroof but it seems the glare from the sun roof always impacts my ability to view my backup camera screen. You cannot see at all on most days.
Takes a lot of gas to fill it up. When something does go wrong with it it's quite expensive to get it fixed. The sensors go out a lot. Right now it won't stay in park the transmission is slipping.
Expensive to repair with genuine Toyota parts, does not have push button start technology, a/c does not regulate well. Too hot or too cold, leather wears quickly, does not come with molding floor mats for high spills since this is a family car.
The 2017 Toyota Sequoia has an average owner rating of 4.37 out of 5 which ranks it #7 of 9 other Full Size SUVs.
