The size of the tires on the 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 is 245/75R16 for both the 1500HD 2wd and the 1500HD 4wd. The recommended tire pressure for the vehicle iS35 psi for both the front and the rear tires. The size of the wheels are 16 to 17 inches in diameter and 6.5 to 7 inches in width. The truck has a wheel bolt pattern of 6x139.7mm, a center bore of 78.1 mm, a thread size of M12 X1.5 and it uses lug nuts as the wheel fasteners. You should have the tires rotated every 7,500 miles or so. The cost of a tire rotation if taken to a mechanic is anywhere from $30 to $40 in labor costs.
