The tire size of the 2004 Kia Optima depends on which engine the vehicle has. The ExAnd LX models with the 2.4 L 4Cylinder engine use a P205/60R15 tire that is mounted on a 15 diameter, 6 width wheel. The 2.7 L V6 ExAnd LX use a P205/55R16 tire on 16 diameter, 6 width rims. All models have a recommended tire pressure of between 34 to 35 psi. The Optima has a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that will alert You when the tire pressures fall a few pounds below the recommended level by turning on the TPMS light on the dash. When the tire pressure is properly maintained, the tires will last longer and help the tires wear evenly.
