The 2006 Ford Fusion used two different tire sizes among its three trim levels. The SEL model came with P225/50R17tires that are mounted on 17-inch diameter rims that are 7-inches wide. The S and SE models both had P205/60R16 tires from the factory on rims that are 6.5-inches wide and 16-inches in diameter. All Fusions came with a compact spare along with a jack in the trunk for emergency use if You happen to get a flat. The tires should be maintained at 35 psi, not only for safety but also to limit wear and for best fuel economy. Its is recommended that You check the tire pressure at least once a month and before going on long trips.
