The 2007 Toyota Camry recommended oil viscosity is SAE 5w-30. The capacity iS4.5 quarts. It is recommended to change Your oil and oil filter every 7,500 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. You can extend Your engine life, get better gas mileage, and have better performance if You change Your oil regularly. Routine oil and filter changes help remove particles and sludge from the engine. If the oil isn't changed, Your vehicle's engine will start to have a lot of problems.Over time the oil will become thinner, abrasive, and will start to wear down on vital engine parts. Synthetic oil is by far better for performance. It protects the engine due to lower levels of friction.

The 2.4L inline-4 (engine code [B] 2AZ-FXE X), in the 2007 Toyota Camry, needs 4.5 quarts of either 0W20 or 5W20 synthetic oil. The 2.4L inline-4 with engine code 2AZ-FE 4, uses 4.5 quarts of preferably 0W20 synthetic oil, but Toyota allows for the use of 5W20 also. The 2007 Camry with the 3.5L V6 engine option, takes 6.4 quarts of 5W30 synthetic oil.

I own a 2007 Camry se 2.4L and I've been using 0W20 Toyota synthetic oil for 10+ year. Engine still runs smooth, more power and better fuel economy. We drive only 3000 miles annually so I use Fram XG4386 oil fter rated for 24 months/15000 miles and I change the oil/filter after 2 years along the air filters
