The oil type on the 2008 Acura RDX iS5W-30 for all temperatures. If You want to know the capacity of this vehicle, it iS5 US quarts with a filter and 4.8 US quarts without a filter. Make sure that when You replace the oil on this vehicle that the oil filter is being replaced as well. You would not want an old filter mixing its oils with the new oil that was just installed. It would not protect the new oil, as well as a new filter, would. Remember to check the oil level at least once a week with daily use and top off if needed. It's always useful to have a bottle of oil in Your trunk in case it does get low.
