The 2008 Honda Accord oil type and capacity iS5w20 and 4.4 quarts. Having high quality oil is key for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with the oil at some point. A common problem is an awful burning odor. This needs to be viewed closely as soon as possible or the car might explode. Bad oil can cause the engine to fail. Knocking noise may show up from the engine. You could experience poor gas mileage. Your oil needs to be changed out someday. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles or so is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be problems with the engine.

The 2008 Honda Accord's engine options all use 5W20 synthetic formulated oil. The two versions of the 2.4L inline-4 need 4.4 quarts, and the two versions of the 3.5L V6 both take 4.5 quarts worth.

My 08 Honda has 260000 miles it's the v6 burns a quart every 3000 miles it runs strong with the 5 30 synthetic mobil
