The 2010 Subaru Outback had 2 different engine models, the standard 2.5L and an upgraded 3.6L. No matter which model You have they will both run on 5W-30 synthetic blend oil. The difference in these models will be in the capacity with the 2.5L needing 4.2 US quarts for a full fill up and the 3.6L needinG6.7 US quarts. The oil in these vehicle will need to be changed out every 7,500 miles and You will be looking at spending between $110 and $130 if You want to take it in to a shop to have the job done. Doing it on Your own You'll be looking at spending between $20 and $50 in oil costs.
