The 2011 Ford Escape is going to have a maximum towing capacity oF-1500 pounds. This will be the same for all trim levels and Ford made available no towing package option to increase this limit. The payload capacity will vary between 1100 and 1300 pounds. Higher level trims are going to be at the 1300Mark while the base models will be around 1100. The tongue weight capacity is limited to 150 pounds so You're going to need to use a light trailer. The torque output from it'S3.0L V6 engine will be 171 lbs-ft.
