2011 3.0 ltr AWD
I absolutely love my Escape! I've owned it for 4 years. I bought it used with 122,000 miles on it. I now have 223,000 miles on it. I've done dozens of 16 hr drives and a couple 23 hrs drives in it. The seats are extremely comfortable. I've been through horrible snow storms, snowy icy roads, and it's never been an issue. They are suprisingly good off road, the intelligent AWD keeps you going even in the nasty stuff. The have great cargo capacity as well. My daughter found out the hard way in hers, that they take a hard side impact very well, and she walked away unharmed. Side airbags front and rear. I would and DO recommended them to everyone!!

Poor fit and body quality.
The interior of my car is very nice however the fit and finish is not so good. If you sit in the back seat you can hear air coming through both rear doors. They're rear wheel wells on both sides of the car are severely rusting and started rusting the couples years after I purchased the car. This is a very unsatisfactory.

Perfect for kayak, phone, roomie.
I really love this car. It rides smooth. I love the fact I don't have to climb and crouch into the car. It has a place to set your phone fits perfectly. Back sets are roomie. If you like me the rack on top is a perfect fit for my kayak. Also can fit one in the back with the glass open!

Spacious yet compact SUV vehicle.
This vehicle is wonderful for a small family. There is enough room for car seats but it is also compact enough to fit comfortably in the garage. It is drives smoothly and comfortably. This vehicle has been reliable to me thus far and I have never had any issues with it. The trunk is very spacious which I love. There is room for many items that kids need.

It has enough car chargers in the back so everyone can plug in their devices.
It has so much room. It runs smooth and having the backup camera is the best. It has a big screen for the radio and other digital items, making it easier to see at night. You can get google maps right on the screen to help you if you are in an area you are not familiar with. I love the ford escape.

Independent woman vehicle.
My ford escape has been very reliable for the last 4 years. It gets good gas mileage. Does great with oil. I have had two problem with my ac but it was just wear and tear. My particular car doesn't have any fancy features and I really wish it did. Back seat vents would be a plus.

Great reliable car that will last.
This car has held up nicely over the years. It still runs smoothly, has not had any need for repairs, and is in good condition. There are a few odd noises every now and then such at rattling in the gear shift and window but besides that I haven't had many problems. The air conditioning fan did need to be replaced after 7 years because it started to die out. Would be happy to purchase again in the future.

This car is a great car for someone that needs just a little more space than a sedan.
Great, dependable vehicle. Love the Bluetooth features and dual zone climate. There is a lot of road noise with it and it's a bit on the boring side, but won't let me down.

Old escape model expectations.
The ford escape is a reliable SUV type with a comfortable drive and lots of room within the vehicle. The make of my car is a 2011, and is getting a bit old. I enjoy the sunroof and comfort of the material seats. The air conditioning has had several issues, but all were able to be fixed. The speakers have gone out. The car becomes a bit shaky after reaching 80 mph, but is fine to drive even at 85mph. It is overall a great car and better modeled than the newer escapes.

Good stuff! Would recommend.
Lots of room, reliable family car, little chronic problems, but need to replace struts. The food down seats are nice, the back window wiper motor went pretty quick, however the car is very easy to work on so you can save some money if anything goes wrong.

Ford escape review: 2010 hybrid limited ford escape brief review and evaluation.
The car is the perfect size. Great utility vehicle and holds up to long road trips well. Decent gas mileage in rural areas but very limited in urban environments. Very cost effective car and can stand a high odometer reading well. Seats are very comfortable and the added lighting features are a nice bonus.

Great car with some concerns.
My vehicle runs great. Sometimes it has issues after idling for a while. Like it will not accelerate well. Sometimes it jolts. I had it looked at was told there are no issues. But it happened again today. Overall I love my vehicle it is comfortable and sharp looking.

Ford escape enables escape.
My car is sturdy and gets the job done. The gas mileage is decent for an SUV, and there is plenty of room for my entire family. We have taken it on vacation twice and were very satisfied with the room. There was plenty of room for our luggage for a week long vacation as well as transporting all four members of our family.

Perfect young family SUV!
Love it. Perfect size for two toddlers in tow. Holds a double stroller, and more at one time. Seat is very adjustable, perfect for someone with back & neck issues. Great seat warmers, just wish they hit a little higher on my back. Perfect young family car.

2011 ford escape XLT good for the price.
The engine supports squeak. Other than that, I am pleased with the vehicle. I average about 24 miles per gallon. The escape has power windows and a sunroof, all of which function properly without any issues. My model has a leather interior which is great if you have kids. It does get hot if parked in the sun, but it is very easy for cleanup should any spills happen. The back seats fold forward to allow for more trunk space which is very nice. There is also a small roof rack. It is not designed for heavy loads but can be very helpful if you need a little extra space or it you have any long items to transport. Overall I am happy with the vehicle and would recommend it to other buyers.

Ford escape hybrid-great car!
The ford escape hybrid is a great small SUV. The fold flat seats are great when you need to move things and are easy to maneuver. I have plenty of room for my son and dogs to ride comfortably. I also love the heated leather seats during the winter, so cozy!

Great vehicle with one downside: gas mileage.
It has terrible gas mileage but I love every other aspect of it. I love how spacious it is and I love how easy it drives. I can literally fit almost anything in it. I love how high off the ground it is. I do not have to worry over every pothole in the road like with my old car.

Fords really are built tough!
I bought my vehicle new in 2010 and it has been a very reliable car for the last 10 years. I have traveled cross country with it many times and, not only does it function great in various weather conditions, but it also gets fantastic fuel mileage. I am starting to have a few issues pop up these days, like dead battery, spark plugs, etc, but I just chalk it up to old age and normal wear and tear.

Perfect small SUV that is budget friendly on the gasoline.
I love the design, it is really economic on gas, even do is a small SUV it is really specious, you can fit a lot of thing in the trunk and the rails on the top help out a lot when you are moving the only thing I had problems with was that the fuel inject crack and it gave me some problems but it was an easy fix.

It has a button that changes the color of the low lighting.
Spacious room in the back row seating, huge trunk space, big enough to feel like an SUV yet small enough to navigate into tight parking spaces and through cities and traffic. It is a very reliable car and gets gas mileage. It also had low lighting that you can change the color of with a push of a button.

Comfort of a ford escape!
I love my car. It is spacious it fits everything that I need. It is amazing on gas mileage and it picks up very well on freeways as I have to commute to work everyday. I will say when it had its issue it was a quick fix. Very comfortable I have leather seats so if something was to spill it is an easy clean up.

Ford escape - excellent travel SUV for camping and long haul trips.
This vehicle has gotten a lot of wear and tear over the last 9 years. At least once a year we drive round trip from western Washington to northern Idaho, an almost 700 mile trip. It has been a very reliable work horse carrying tools, lumber and camping equipment back and forth every summer. It performs well in the snow as well, handling mountain pass travel with all wheel drive no need for chains.

A great running, good size SUV that our family loves! Our ford escape!
We bought our 2011 ford escape used in February 2019. It had around 90,000 miles on it. The only problem we've ever had a belt broke on my way to take my husband to work. I was able to get to a parking lot with no power steering and it barely running. A quick trip o'reilly's to get a belt, and a few minutes of common sense... Fixed! Never had another issue and it now has over 160,000 miles on it. Runs great, plenty of power, excellent in snow and mud, good gas mileage. Theres also plenty of room for my two boys! I really like our escape!

Ol’reliable with little tendencies.
Transmission is starting to slip, but it is been 3 years that feels like a long time enough without any problems. Very comfy for a first car and trustworthy. The engine light did come on often without anything being wrong, as well as the light saying check fuel fill inlet but it wasn't open and nothing was in there.

Little annoyances but overall works.
Sun glares on the shifter and is blinding while driving. The chrome finish on the door handles is peeling and is sharp and cuts fingers when you go to open the door. Do not like that fords wipers run an extra time after they are done cycling. Space is fine. Like how the back seats fold down.

Overall great car! Great for moms!
The best car I have ever had!! Has lasted a long time with minor problems. Gas is usually good if you keep it above half a tank at all times. Great for road trips and very spacious. Although I cannot figure out how to turn the limited volume off the radio is still pretty fair for how loud it goes up.

Low maintenance, smooth and reliable ride!
I have kept up with all the routine maintenance and have had little to no issues. In the 5+ years I have owned it, apart from natural wear on it (tires, brakes, etc) I have only ever had to take it in once for an exhaust issue. Rides smooth, great in the snow. Gas mileage has gone down a bit over the last year but is still over 20 miles/gallon. The ability to put down the back seat and have extra cargo space is a plus. Mine does not have a top rack or the tow package, but having those options is really nice. Overall a great vehicle. Will probably keep for another year or so until I am ready to get a new vehicle!

Needs basic general maintenance, but has never given me any major issues. I did have a recent problem with the starter, but it was an easy fix. It is not very fuel efficient. Very reliable. We haven't had any major problems with it. But one thing I do hate is that we have invested over $1000 in ac repairs and the ac is still not working. We were quoted from another place the amount of $2,000 but we don;'t think it is worth it.

There's good and bad in autos.
My escape rides and drives smooth. It has room for storage and leg space. It holds 5 people. The back seats lay down for more space to haul things. For an 4x4 SUV, it gets good gas mileage. Its automatic and has good seats ro ride in. Issues include the air and heat only blows on high, something with the air conditioner only getting cold occasionally. I've had issues with the motor and had to put another one in. I still like ford and prefer the autos made by them.

2011 Ford Escape is a great SUV!
When I am in traffic and it is stop and go, there are times my SUV will have a "hiccup" when I accelerate and it feels like it is going to stall. I just recently had an oil change so I do not feel like that is the issue. Unfortunately, I do not have money right now to get this checked out.

I have had no major issues with this vehicle. It is comfortable and dependable. At 130,000 miles I just had an oil pan leak fixed, as well as new spark plugs and coolant flush. Other than brakes, tires, oil changes and a few recalls, have had no major maintenance expenses.

2011 ford escape still running well.
My vehicle has 4wd and typically is great in bad weather. It has the sync and sun package which was pretty high end when I bought it almost 10 years ago. I wish it had a garage door opener built in. When you want to get away, the ford escape is fun, roomy and reliable!!
I currently have 262,000 miles on my car and have had no significant problems. I have had the air conditioner fixed twice, but no issues with driving ability. I mainly drive on the highway, and the road noise level is very low. My escape is very roomy, I have two adult children and we have taken many road trips comfortably. My wonderful ford ' escape car'!
Given that I have owned this vehicle for about 7 years, there have been relatively few problems. I do a considerable amount of city driving everyday, as well as highway driving frequently. The gas mileage is of course better on the highway, but even with day to day travel it is good. With the exception of a few scratches and nicks which were not my fault, the body has held up well. The escape handles well in both city and highway conditions. I do not have rear wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, so if someone is unaccustomed to driving in snow they should be cautious. It is not a powerful car but the engine allows me to pass and merge easily. I feel that there is sufficient room for luggage when I go on a trip with my children, and it is still a comfortable vehicle.

Easy driving Ford Escape!
Super comfortable car and easy drive. Bigger car than a sedan but doesn't feel like you are driving a large car. Love the ability to put the back seats down flat to easily move boxes or even furniture. Doesn't have any flashy features like Bluetooth but does have an auxiliary jack to connect your phone. Perfect car to get you where you need to go.

Ford escape has great seats.
Great car, love the heated seats and faux leather interior. The sun room really makes it feel bigger. Seat configuration works well for me and my pets. Stock sound system sounds great as well. Seats are very comfortable and the cars drives well. I like the size, not too big or too small. Really great all around SUV couldn’t ask for a better ride.

It is a quality made vehicle that is fund to drive.
I love that it has the characteristics of the bigger SUV, but on a smaller scale. It's a fun vehicle to drive. I love it!

Reliable Ford Escape family vehicle.
The Ford Escape is a compact SUV. It is easy to drive with average gas mileage for a SUV. I do not have many mechanical problems with this vehicle. It gets me from a to b. I have over 77, 000 miles on it and it still runs great. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone with a small family.

Fords are reliable vehicles!
We’ve had an older model and a young model of the escape and it is just such a great car the one I am currently driving has way too many mileage and I need to put some work into it so it is not fair for me to base it on the one I am driving but I have had for explorers an escape and an eco-sport and they’ve all been awesome.

THAT IS HAS VERY LITTLE RUST FOR BEING A CAR THAT IS IN MICHIGAN
IT IS A VERY NICE VEHICLE WITH DECENT GAS MILEAGE. NOTHING TO FANCY. IT IS AWD AND DOES NOT HAVE A REMOTE START

It gets great gas mileage for an SUV. I usually get between 25 - 30 MPG
My vehicles gets great gas mileage, and it handles very well. Could use a little more room, but it's perfect for my family.

Good, reliable vehicle for our family
Had a power steering recall that was fixed quickly, have had air conditioner problems almost since we bought it, seems to overcharge, we like the back seats that we can fold down or only fold half down, good room for our legs in the front and back, has been a good vehicle since we bought it.

On the go lifestyle expectations exceeded
Two wheel drive makes driving conditions in the snow much more challenging than other others. Heated seats, Bluetooth audio, USB port, and hands free really meets the demands of an on the go lifestyle. Drives well overall, and I've never had any major repairs needed.

The most important thing others should know about my car is that it is great for getting around town, and it's good on gas.
I like that it is small and easy to get around in. I don't like that I can't haul things I don't like that I paid too much for it.

Does not handle salt well.
My Ford Escape driving door will not close anymore and my exhaust fell out recently. What I do about it is I like having a sunroof and a lot of space. But it does not handle New York winters very well. My tires do not seem to last very long either along with my brakes.

Perfect for a small family.
Overall my vehicle is good. Plenty of space for a small family. However, gets tight with more than 3 adults. Trunk is spacious, and easily fits luggage or large stroller. Performs well in all weather, including snow. Automatic 4 wheel drive rarely kicks in.

Ignition problems, will not start sometimes.
Ignition keeps messing up and I have already had to repair it once. It is now messing up again and it is a different reason. There is no recall on the ignition so it becomes a costly repair each time and I am afraid that I will become stranded with my family if it will not start.

Recommended SUV, reliable, drives amazing and is a great family vehicle.
Overall my vehicle it is great, very reliable and runs very well. My vehicle does have a lot of miles on it so it has its issues. The only thing I am not happy with is my air conditioning does not always work. I would recommend this vehicle to friends and family, it is decent on gas for an SUV and it rides very smooth.

2011 ford escape XLT 2.5l.
Very reliable. Good daily driver. Clothe entire. It has Bluetooth speakers/ radio system. Drove over 205,000 miles on it and still runs great. Mainly because I am a mechanic and fix my car when it needs it. When regular maintenance Is Done the car can last a lifetime.

A comfortable and reliable ride.
Overall I am satisfied with the ford escape. Perfect for a family of four. Have not had any major issues with it. The ac works well. The seats are very comfortable and recline well. The vehicle has up to date proved reliable. The only minor complaint I have is that some of the plastic parts break a little too easy.

This is a great vehicle!
This is a great vehicle! Runs well. Is not the best on gas mileage but for a car its size I think it does pretty well. Have not had any serious issues. Gets me where I need to be. Love that it has a lot of space to store and tote around different items that I need to.

It's great year round. It's able to handle all of the snow and mud that Maine can throw at it.
I love being up high and having almost no completely blind spots around me. Seems to get good gas mileage for its size. I don't like how weak the engine feels when I accelerate.

2011 Ford escape comments.
I have had no problems with this vehicle. I was reluctant at first because it is a Ford but it has been very reliable. It is a flex fuel model and can use 2 different kinds of fuel. To me it is just a means of transportation to get from one place to another.

Expect transmission and fan problems.
Lots of exhaust problems and the adjustment for the fan blower only works on one speed. Like the size of it.

Great car- perfect for me and my family.
I bought my car used. I have had it for three years now and I love it. It is the perfect car for me. It gets good mileage, which is great because I drive 25 minutes to school every day. It has lots of space, which is great because I like to bring my friends with me places and I also have a lot of stuff to keep in my car. I really like that it has lights in the front seat that change colors. My passengers like it as well. I like to change the colors to the type of music I am listening to that night.
