The 2012 AudiQ5 useS6.6 quarts of oil to fill the 3.2L V6 engine. The oil type is SAE 0W-40 and Audi recommends that You use full synthetic oil when You replace it. There are two major types of oil that are on the market these days, conventional and synthetic. Conventional is petroleum-based and an older technology. Synthetic is newer technology and is engineered in a lab to give You better protection and longer oil life. This means with synthetic You only need to change it every 7,500 miles compared to the 3,500 to 5,000 miles of conventional. Always be sure to check Your oil at least once a month to make sure that it is free from debris.
