The oil type used on the 2012 Ford Fiesta is SAE 5W-20. Make sure that when You buy Your oil that it is API certified. If You would like to know the capacity on Your Ford Fiesta then it will be 4.2 US quarts with a filter. The purpose of motor oil as we all know is to keep the motor and ints interior parts lubricated and clean. If the oil gets d***y or too low for a long period of time then we put the motor at risk of being damaged. If You want my advice, check Your oil about every week so You can see not only its level but how clean or clear it is.
