Most compact sport utility vehicles won't give You more than about 65 cubic feet of space, but the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander is not most compact SUVs. With it, You'll get 14.9 cubic feet to 36.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats (depending on configuration), or a total of 72.6 cubic feet with the seating area taken into account. With that said, the cargo space still pales in comparison to move mid-size and large SUVs, but owners will buy each of those for different reasons. If You're looking for a great compact sport utility vehicle that gives You enough room for more common use cases, You can't go wrong with the reliable '13 Outlander's reasonable cost of ownership.

The ES trim on the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander has a cargo space behind the seats that's 36.2 cubic feet. The SE and GT trims seat 7 and only have 14.9 cubic feet of rear cargo space. But all of the models have a total cargo volume of 72.6 cubic feet with the seating area.
