The 2013 Toyota Tacoma oil type and capacity is 0w-20 and 5.5 quarts. Having high quality oil is important for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into issues with the oil at some point. Bad oil can cause the engine to stop working. A common problem is an awful burning smell. This needs to be inspected as soon as possible or the car might explode. Knocking noise may arise from the engine. You could experience poor gas mileage. Your oil needs to be replaced eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be issues with the engine.

SAE 0W-20 is the best viscosity grade for the 2013 Toyota Tacoma. Toyota advises to use engine oils meeting the oil viscosity requirements SAE classifications and has the API Certification Seal. The engine oil capacity for the 2013 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L and 4.0L is 5.5 US quarts.

Depends on what engine you have. For the2.7L4-Cylinder Engine SAE 0W-20 is the best choice. If you have a 4.0L V6 then you’ll need to go with SAR 5W-30.

Worthless. Got 3 different answers to the question, What Oil To Use. Ow-20, SAE 5w-30 and SAR 5-30. Back to square one

It says it right on the oil cap of my 2013 Tacoma 4L... 5w-30. It prefers synthetic, so be sure your filter is synthetic. It takes 5.2L, so grab 1x 5L jug plus 1x 1L of the same brand/type, if you're concerned about the 0.2L.
