The 2014 Chevrolet Equinox3.6l engine oil capacity iS6 US quarts. The 2.4l engine oil capacity iS5 US quarts. SAE 5w-30 synthetic motor oil is recommended. It is recommended to change Your oil every 7,500 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. You can extend Your engine life, get better gas mileage, and have better performance if You change Your oil regularly. Routine oil and filter changes help remove particles and sludge from the engine. If the oil isn't changed, Your vehicle's engine will start to have a lot of problems.Over time the oil will become thinner, abrasive, and will start to wear down on vital engine parts.

The 2014 Chevrolet Equinox 3.6L engines oil capacity is 6 US quarts (5.7 liters) and the 2.4L engine oil capacity is 5 US quarts (4.7 liters). SAE 5W-30 is the best viscosity grade for the 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. Chevrolet recommends not using other viscosity grade oils such as SAE 10W-30, 10W-40, or 20W-50.
