I find my 2014 Chevrolet equinox to be comfortable to drive and reliable. Love the ease of getting into it. Love the look of it and driving it and the controls. Easy to use dashboard controls. Steering is responsive and accurate. Seating is comfortable and roomy.

This car is not for everyone.
I find it very uncomfortable to ride in. The windows are too high to reach out of. There are blind spots on both sides of the windshield. The armrest split within a year of having the car. The ride is just okay. The seats are not overly comfortable.

My Chevy equinox is an okay car. The ride does okay for short distances. Long trips I feel cramped and have back pain. My equinox is the basic version, powered windows and locks. Manual seat adjustments. Gas mileage is pretty good. Summer is 29 mpg and winter is around 24 mpg.

Malfunction in the design.
The front bumper seems to be too low almost every time you pull into a parking space the bumper seems to catch the concrete barrier, so when one pulls out the bumper is dislodged. The motor seems to make a sound that any mechanic does not have an explanation for. Thus leading to a slower takeoff. This meaning we are less usage of the gas put in the vehicle. For a vehicle only being seven years old, well maintained and driven less 3000 miles a year it has been a disappointment.

I love the backup camera!
This car has a very smooth ride and I love the back-up camera. There is lots of room to haul stuff. Love the Bluetooth features along with the hands free functions. Takes forever to warm up in the morning tho. Plenty of legroom in the back for my family.

Rock the sox off your equinox!
This vehicle has always been reliable for me! It has required reasonable fixes and repairs along the way with time, but has never cause me any real trouble or sticky situations. I have loved it and my mom's older equinox model before this one. The only thing with the new models of the equinox is the blind spots are a little worse. But with the newer car sensor features and backup cameras in newer cars it is not as big of an issue.

Comfortable ride and style.
My SUV is comfortable to drive. I drive 45 min one way each day. I love the different seat adjustments. I like my climate control. I do not like the backup camera in this year. It is really fuzzy and hard to judge at night and in the rain. I have only had 1 problem in 2 years and that was with the oil. It tends to burn more do not wait until 5 percent or less to have it changed.

Budget-friendly, spacious vehicle.
My Chevy equinox has proved to be extremely reliable in the 2+ years I have owned it. I get 400+ miles per tank of gas. There is plenty of storage space for road trips with friends, beach days, moving, and I was able to purchase roof rails post-sale for additional roof storage (total cost of warehouse parts was about $1k). What the equinox lacks in luxury (my previous car had heated seats and a sunroof) it makes up in reliability, space, and comfort.

Great diverse family vehicle.
Excellent vehicle, well suited for my small family of 3. Rides well for daily use commuting on the interstate. Has been perfect for long trips and vacations. Lots of space and easy to add remove car seats and booster seats from back seat. Back seat does fold down for transporting bigger items but does not quite lay flat, this is a minor annoyance and a drawback. Mileage has been fantastic, at 150,000 miles and no major repairs other than general maintenance and wear and tear type fixes.

All wheel drive and comfort is hard to beat.
I love my equinox! The gas mileage is fantastic. My seats come down in the back when I need more storage. Driving in the winter is amazing because I have all wheel drive. My seats are comfortable and stylish. My only complaint about my vehicle is the windshield. My windshield easily cracked when the weather got warmer not starting from a chip. It has only spread and now I need to replace it.

Engine issues, sputtering, and clogged a/c.
When I first purchased the vehicle there was something that went wrong in the engine and my car immediately shut down. It was under warranty so thankfully it was fixed. Now my a/c and heat goes in and out. There is also slight sputtering when stopped. I read other reviews that said this would happen, but I didn't listen. The inside of the car looks really nice. There is open space in the front dashboard area to make you feel not so scrunched and everything is Bluetooth. I have a backup camera which is extremely helpful. All in all the car has been pretty good to me the last 2 years. I am not saying that I love it, but I don't hate the car.

I love my equinox but the only thing that has been a problem are my brakes. There's something wrong with them and no one can figure it out. I even took to Chevrolet dealership and they didn't know.

Comfortable, decent gas mileage responsive handling and acceleration.
I like how it handles. I also like the automatic or manual transmission. It is accelerates really well for a four cylinder. I do not like that none of the charging ports function if the vehicle is not running.

The comfort of the equinox.
I love my Chevrolet equinox, the only issue I have had so far during the year I have had it, is that the wipers quit working on me. I also do not like that it does not have rear air. But other than that it drives smoothly; gets good gas mileage, comfortable, roomy, and perfect for anyone who has kids.

A four door SUV with 5 total seats.
Works great! Have had only one problem due to nature - small animal burrowed in my air conditioning tubes and chewed through, causing leaking through to the base of my car. Everything was taken out and dried, and new tubing was put in, and air conditioning works fine now!

Perks of Chevrolet equinox.
I have never really had any issues. It has driven great ever since I got it. It is been very reliable and it is very comfortable. I love the touch screen radio, Bluetooth pairing with my phone so I do not have to use it to call, text, anything. The child lock is awesome and easy to use. I like my seats, they're cloth because I do not like leather. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone, especially if they have kids.

Chevy equinox handles well.
The Chevy equinox drives great and handles fairly well. It sits comfortable in the front seats however the back is a little tight. It has great trunk space as well. The maintenance is not too costly but it does seem to often need work. All in all, it is a decent vehicle.

One of the best cars to buy for a family vehicle.
I love my equinox. Very comfortable to drive. I have over 140,000 and has needed limited inexpensive work along with regular upkeep. It is starting to lose power to automatic windows randomly but other than that it has been a great vehicle. Plenty of room to seat 5 comfortable and great space in back for things like luggage, groceries and traveling with dogs.

Fuel pumps are not great in this vehicle and there’s 3.
Have had to replace the fuel pump twice. People in the back are always the opposite temperature that the ones in the front are. Inside hatch cover keeps falling off. Volume on radio does not go high enough. Tires seem to be louder on the inside than most vehicles.

I absolutely love my car! It is a fax guzzler, but a vehicles need gas and I am willing to pay for it. The upkeep has not been too bad. I notice I do have to frequently get my oiled changed is to be expected! But I love it! The reliability is super good! I can drive long distances and it will drive quite well! It does not overheat like my other cars have done in the past.

Chevy equinox is a SUV to purchase.
I have had no problems with my Chevy equinox, no maintenance problems. The driving is really comfortable and smooth and does not take much gas. The ride is smooth with hitting bumps as you do not feel them and driving in the rain and snow is excellent.

Reliable, comfortable, multi-use vehicle.
This car is comfortable, easy to drive and feels very safe. The trunk is large and the car is able to fit bigger items when the back seats are fully folded. The performance has not changed over the time that I have had the car (6mo). The carplay feature is great because I enjoy listening to music from my phone as opposed to the radio.

Family friendly fun vehicle!
I love my equinox! I have had it for several years and it is very spacious and drives so smoothly. Have had very minimal problems. I keep it maintained as far as oil changes, tired rotations and regular maintenance. The one recall I had, I got fixed immediately and have had zero problems since.

2014 Chevy equinox review.
Love the size and look. The interior and exterior are great, has all the features I want; leather, heated, power seats, sunroof, etc. But mechanically - I have had issues with this car since day one. Exhaust leak, bad o2 sensors, windshield wiper motor issues, etc.

2014 Chevy equinox has not let me down yet.
I have had my equinox for a few years now, there are around 150,000 miles. My air conditioning did go out over last winter, I had it charged and it works perfectly. I had some type of belt replaced a couple years ago for around $200. I did buy the vehicle used so I do not have knowledge of how well it was kept before I bought it. Overall I love the size of the equinox, there is plenty of room for myself and my daughter and any storage we may need.

Great starter vehicle for young couple.
Love my equinox, always have. Having a child in our life now has presented the issue where we need a larger vehicle because the equinox is quite small when traveling. Never have I ever had any issues. I currently have black leather seats and I would advise against black leather as it gets very hot. Can be a bit loud when driving.

Chevy equinox: good but not great.
My equinox is very reliable, I have had very few issues in terms of the car. I recently had to replace my driver side window because it was stuck in the down position. It gets good gas mileage and has good pick up. One of the major issues is that the a/c does not filter into the back seats very well. It is large enough to fit two large car seats and plenty of items that my kids need on a daily basis. It handled driving in the snow well.

No problems with my equinox.
My vehicle has heated seats and is wonderful in the snow. The seats are comfortable and the vehicle's dashboard is laid out as so that the driver has easy access to all dashboard options. The vehicle is a very comfortable ride. I haven't had any problems with the vehicle so far.

I love how roomy the Chevy equinox is!
I love how roomy it is inside. Me and my daughters boyfriend are very tall and there is a ton of leg room in the front and back seat. The cargo area is also a nice size. For a car that is 6 years old it is very reliable. I have had no mechanical problems. It gets decent gas mileage. On average, it gets about 24 miles per gallon.

Beginner friendly vehicle!
I got the Chevy equinox as a hand me down from my mother. I had previously driven the car when my other car was in service because it was really old. I love the rear view camera and displays in the equinox it makes it really easy to prevent accidents and future problems.

It is a great car if you have one kid.
It needs a tire rotation and a tune up. Also there is not enough space in the back for two car seats and one person. I sit in the backseat with my children and it is a tight squeeze. Gas mileage is okay. Other than that it is great. My husband can get to and from work perfectly fine in this car.

2014 Chevrolet Equinox Review. Excellent on safety and comfort.
My vehicle has excellent gas mileage and is very inclusive with safety features. Sensors alert the drive to vehicles getting close on each side and it front. It also features a rear facing camera to have a larger viewing area when backing up. Bluetooth connection makes answering phones calls and streaming music much easier while driving. It also features heated seats.

The car is comfortable and drives well. I like the backup camera. It is not special and driver’s seat could be designed better. The mileage is pretty good. Cargo space is adequate. My engine went bad after 5 years of driving with regular oil changes. I was told that this is common for this make and model. I had to have it completely replaced. They recommended I change my oil more frequently than recommended to avoid damaging new engine.

My car came with a DVD player, I have only used it once.
The one thing I would change in my car is the sides in the front by the windshield, it is too wide and it obstructs my view when looking to turn out of anywhere. I love the sunroof and the seats are adjustable in different ways, which is nice. The lights when driving at night are perfect, not too bright. I own my car.

Great economical vehicle!
My vehicle has all of the bells and whistles. Electric seats, heated seats, sun roof, leather seats etc. It gets great gas mileage and is easy to drive. I can start my vehicle from inside my house and get it warmed up before I go outside to get in my vehicle. I have no problems with my vehicle except the sensors go out from time to time now that it is 6 years old. We have had to replace 3 of them. Other than that, we haven't had any problems.

Our Equinox has so far not disappointed in reliability and performance. . The drivers area seems a bit confined. Bucket seats are confining, especially after using bench seats for years. Still learning about the features that are offered. Diagnostic system is helpful. AWD is great in inclement weather.

The perfect family vehicle.

2014 wonderful Chevy equinox.
I love my equinox. I feel like there is plenty of space for my little family (two adults, one toddler car seat, one medium sized dog). The car lets me know if I have anything wrong with it like low tire pressure or if I need an oil change. It drives very smoothly and it is comfortable. I do wish that there were ac vents in the backseat so I didn't have to adjust my vents awkwardly to make sure my son is getting enough air. The seats can move but it is awkward that to move them, there are automatic and manual levers to change the position of the seas. I absolutely love having a back windshield wiper, I am not sure why I love it so much, but it makes so much sense for me. I live on a long country dirt road, so being able to wipe the crud away helps me to be a better driver because I know what is happening behind me without having to strain to figure it out.

Reliable SUV and great on gas.

Chevy equinox. Roomy for tall people.
Have driven car for 5 years, approx 80,000 miles. Has had absolutely no problems. Changed brakes, tires and oil that is it. Car has the 6 cylinder engine so it has plenty passing power. I would not buy the gm 4 cylinder, too weak. The pneumatic lifts on the tailgate rusted out and needed to be replaced.

It is a basic Chevy equinox.
The equinox has been a very good car. Although, we were on a long trip and the windshield wipers stopped working in a major rainstorm. After further research, we found out the bushings were faulty and caused the issue. I took it apart today to fix the issue. Other than that we have not had any issues.

The Chevy Equinox is a very reliable car. It is comfortable to drive and be a passenger in. I do wish however that they all were all wheel drive. It drives fine on the roads in the winter but even getting up the smallest of hills is an issue with any snow. The back can become larger to fit items like groceries. The bench seat slides forward to make more room. Overall, I am satisfied with my Chevy Equinox.

Good car, could be better in winter conditions.
Overall a great car. Could handle better in winter driving conditions. Can be a bit difficult to maneuver using the backup camera as it has quite a distance illusion. Rather significant blind spot, is helped by the smaller mirror but not entirely corrected. Great gas mileage.

Love this car. Roomy reliable good performance. Good on gas. Our son liked ours so much he bought one. Love the space in the back to put groceries in. Would definitely buy one again and recommend to all our friends and family. It is a very sleek good looking car also.

Comfortable and economical.
No issues. Tire pressure on occasion is low. The car is quite comfortable. The various dashboard controls are easy to understand and to navigate. I do not care for the button that changes radio stations that is positioned on the steering wheel. It Is Difficult for me to maneuver, so I always use the control on the dashboard, but that is truly my only complaint. I love the leather seats. Easy to get in and out (especially after having knee replacements). I would have no trouble buying another one.

2014 Chevy equinox ls great car.
The car is good but could use more room. Lots of storage inside. Great gas mileage and very smooth ride. Very straightforward display system and Bluetooth is amazing. Lumbar support helps a lot too. Could use cordless aux for music. Has cruise control which is a life saver.

Good overall value for small suv
Handles well, good on gas. Had to take into shop for issue with timing. The AC in driver side doesn't hit the driver.

Great family vehicle. Spacious and great on gas.
The Chevy equinox is a great family vehicle or even a for a single person. I have had no problems with my vehicle. The seating and back hatch is spacious. Can easily fit two large dogs in the back. Great for long road trips. Still running smooth. Great gas mileage.

2014 black Chevy equinox black cloth interior bottom line.
I have had some minor problems with my car along the way but the car overall is nice. I have had to replace the alternator and now my battery is acting up. I have a warranty on it so it is nothing that cannot be fixed but not everyone has that so I could see how that would become a problem. The car has a nice interior and speakers. I love the amount of storage yet the amount of room you have even when all seats are occupied.

It drives very smooth and I feel like it will last me a long time.
It gets great mpg and so far it has only needed regular service. So far the only thing we had to do is get some body work done due to hitting a deer.

Knowing your vehicles and its functions
I really enjoy my Equinox. Vehicles and I can't complain about the gas mileage that I get. I love the smooth drive that I get over the road. It is very beneficial to have the backup camera on the mirror. Love the self starter on the key, cause when it is cold or hot I can't start it up and it will either be cooling off or warming the car up.

The equinox comes with no regrets.
This vehicle is great in the snow and on all terrain. It is safe, reliable, and fuel efficient. Very spacious and lots of room in the trunk for shopping/equipment. Especially with the back seats folded down. Great for drive-in movie theaters. Awesome family car. Plenty of cup holders and storage. Very comfortable and perfect for road trips.

I am not sure that I will buy another equinox. I need something bigger.
I really enjoy this vehicle. It is a good size for just two of us and it gets good gas mileage. We think it rides very nice and has comfortable seats in it. The stereo system I think could be better but that is something that can always be replaced if need be.

This is a very quiet vehicle.
The vehicle is fairly comfortable, the vehicle rides smooth and the vehicle has a sound deadening system that realty makes it quiet inside. The vehicle drives good and being a midsize it is easy to park, the vehicle has very good gas mileage, around 21 miles per gallon (using a gasoline engine) on the highway. The vehicle has a cruse control that works very good and keeps the speed fairly constant.

All around I love my car!
I really don't have any complaints it's been very reliable considering all the miles I put on it each week for work. I would say I put at least 1200 miles min if not more going out of town on jobs every week as well. It's a company vehicle given to me to use as my own personal do and go as I wish vehicle as well so with that being said I spend a lot of my time in my car and have not had any trouble since I've gotten it about 5 years ago. Keeping up with oil changes and tune ups seems to be key in maintaining this particular car. It's pretty fair on gas and rides comfortable with lots of space. All around great car!

Roomy and looks good, has good gas mileage .Comes in the colors I like.
I like the way it drives. I like it is not hard to get in and out of . I can haul things in the back, because seats fold back.

Very attractive and comfortable SUV
The Equinox is one of the most comfortable SUVs i've driven. It's also a very nice looking car, runs great and is very reliable. We have had 1 issue with the car related to electrical but it ended up being a manufactured defected part and was taken care of. I would highly recommend this vehicle

The backseat headrests are not adjustable and are not very easy to remove.
It is an easy to handle and drive the vehicle. It gets great gas mileage. My biggest complete about the vehicle is that backseat headrests are not adjustable or removable which is a problem when you have car seat.

SUV perfect for the inland northwest.
The all wheel drive is nice for the unexpected weather of the inland northwest. The passenger and cargo space is awesome for the midsize SUV. Over the last 4 years, there haven't been any problems. The basic features of the ls model are worth the value.

Great car. Update the system.
The equinox does not have apple carplay and a difficult Bluetooth system. There are times when my car will not connect to my phone and retrieve my contacts, maps and text. It can be distracting. Otherwise the car run very well. The brakes, tires and performance have been wonderful and the size is great for my household and lifestyle. It is very roomie and drives well.

Love my car and everything is comes with!
Love it, very spacious, durable, and safe. Easily cleaned, decent gas mileage, needs often oil changes to keep it running well, high mileage, but still runs well, came with extra accessories that I love, connects to smartphone, very convenient. Under the hood is different, but manageable with owner’s manual.
