The 2015 Honda CR-V uses SAE 0W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil. It has a capacity of 4.6 quarts. Oil is important because it is a lubricant for the engine parts, it helps protect the emission system, and it can enhance fuel economy. The cost of an oil change for Your Honda is between $60 and $90 for parts and labor. You should get an oil change every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Signs that it's time for an oil change include a ticking sound coming from the engine, transmission shifting issues, shaking while idling, exhauSTSmoke, poor fuel economy, and of course if You see the Check Engine or Oil Change lights come on.

The owner's manual calls for 4.6quarts of oil with a fresh filter. I have found that the dip stick still shows low after filling with this quantity. The car was also checked 30 minutes after the oil change and the dip-stick still shows almost a quart low. The past 3 oil changes I have added a full 5 quarts of oil and yet the dip-stick still shows that it is low. Has anyone else had this experience?

Yes, I've had the same issue and add a full 5.0 quarts with a filter change. Reads right at the full level an hour after the change. By the way, who would change their oil and not do a filter??? I run OW-20 full synthetic with a K&N PS1010 filter.

Manual says that oil level should be between marks not at top mark

The 2015 Honda CR-V prefers a full synthetic type oil at SAE 0W-20. The SUV can hold 4.6 quarts of oil with a fresh filter
