2015 Toyota Corolla: What is the oil type and capacity?

The 2015 Toyota Corolla, which houses a 1.8L 4Cylinder engine, has a maximum capacity of 4.4 quarts of motor oil. Toyota recommends using a fully synthetic oil, as the Corolla generally works best with SAE 0w-20 synthetic oil. Fully synthetic oil is preferred, although semi-synthetic oils are acceptable. The former offers a greater degree of protection, efficiency and performance and so, offers more longevity and performance than the latter does Toyota recommends changing both the motor oil, as well as the oil filter every 3,000 to 5,000 miles if using a more conventional oil. If using a synthetic oil, be it fully synthetic or semi-synthetic, Toyota suggests changing the oil and the filter every 7,500 to 10,000 miles.
