The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe came standard with a 3.3 L V6 engine. This engine will have an oil capacity of 6 US quarts when the filter is included. You will have the option of usinG5W-30 or 5W-40 motor oil but either one You use will need to be synthetic. If You live in a cold climate then You can use 10W-30 motor oil in order to avoid the oil freezing inside the vehicle. The oil drain plug will have a head size of 17mm and will require 30 ft-lbs of torque in order to remove it if You are using a torque wrench. If You only have hand tools You will need to use a 17mm socket.

I think the oil capacity of Santa Fe Ultimate is 6 quarts with a dry filter change.

The best oil type for the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe's 3.5L V6 engine is SAE 5W-30 synthetic oil. This Hyundai SUV can hold up to 5.8 quarts of oil when added with a dry filter.
