The 2016 Nissan Versa useS3.7 quarts of SAE 5W-30 oil when You need to do a complete change. Nissan recommends using full synthetic oil when You do need to change it as well. Oil comes in two major varieties, synthetic and conventional. Synthetic is engineered in a lab to give You better wear protection compared to the standard petroleum based conventional. Synthetic also lasts longer than conventional meaning You can go 7,500 miles between changes compared to the 3,500 to 5,000 miles. I recommend checking Your oil at least once a month to make sure that it is full as well as free from debris. Debris in Your oil can cause damage to the engine.

We Used Valvoline CVT Which Designates N2 or N3. The Capacity With Pan Removal Should Be Close To Five Quarts. Mind The amount You Remove When You Drop The Pan.
