If 0W-20 is not available then it is okay to use 5W-20 but then You must go back to 0W-20 for the next oil change. The capacity for the car iS4.4 quarts with a filter. The torque for the drain plug is 27 ft/lbs and a new washers should be installed on the drain bolt. Oil will help to keep the engine clean and running. However it doesn't last forever so that is why we need to do oil changes every now and then. For the Corolla You should change the oil and filter every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

I use 5w 30. Full synthetic Mobil oil in my 2016ToyotaCorolla. Can not tell any difference in performance.

Yes its fine to mix synthetic and regular oil.
