For the 2016 Toyota Tundra the recommended oil type is SAE 5w-20 full synthetic oil. Both of the truck's engines, the 5.7 L v8 and the 4.6 L v8 have an oil capacity of 7.9 quarts. Wrong Pat T...The recommendation is saw 0w20,not 5w20..I own a Toyota Tundra and know the maintenance schedule well.

I have to agree with the guy before me. I also own a 2016 Tundra. It says 0-W20 right on the oil cap on the engine.I also know the maintenance schedule well. 0-W20 folks.
