If You drive a 2018 GMC Yukon, You may at some point have various lights appear on Your dashboard. One of these could be the change oil light. Resetting this light is easy, and takes only a couple of minutes. The first thing You will need to do is put Your key in the ignition. Next, turn the key to the on position, but be careful not to actually start the engine. Now, scroll downward on the intstrument cluster until You locate the "Remaining oil life" notification. Next, push down the right arrow button, which is part of the navigation, and then select "Reset" when it appears. This will reset the system, and the change oil light should now be gone.

You first will turn the ignition key to the run position but don't start the engine. Scroll down and find the remaining oil life. Press the right arrow navigation button and select reset. A message will appear asking you if you are sure you want to reset. Select yes to confirm that you do. Turn the ignition off and start the engine in order to verify that it has worked.
