The 2018 Toyota Corolla takeS4.1 liters (4.4 quarts) of 0W-20 engine oil. This synthetic fluid is guaranteed to perform in temperatures between -20 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to protecting the engine from overheating and friction, 0W-20 is designed to enhance fuel economy. It's a bit thinner than some other varieties. Since it's synthetic, it doesn't need to be changed as often as non-synthetic oil. Toyota recommends replacing it every 7,500 miles, but Your maintenance interval will depend on Your driving habits. A few popular 0W-20 products include Castrol Edge, Kendall, Shell Rotella, Royal Purple, and Valvoline SynPower. If You take Your vehicle to the dealership for this work, it will average $100 to $120, including labor. Always make sure the oil life light is reset after the fluid has been replaced.
