While it's hard to say that the 2019 BMW X3 was built for towing (it wasn't -- it was built on luxury), it can still pull an impressive 4,400 pounds. That may not be enough for a cross country move in an enclosed trailer, but You won't have any problems with a small camper or a reasonably sized boat. It pulls this with up to 258 to 369 lb-ft of torque (in the 2.0L i-4 and 3.0L 6 cylinder, respectively). The maximum tongue weight is listed at 450 pounds. Finally, payload ranges between 1,102 and 1,135 -- with the smaller engine accounting for the higher payload capacity. That's because the less weight You've under the hood, the more weight You can stow in the cargo space.

BMW's 2019 X3 has the engine options to push out between 258 lb-ft. And 369 lb-ft. Of torque. It also has a tongue capable of holding 440 lbs. The 2019 BMW X3 is built to tow upwards of 4,400 lbs.
