The 2019 Buick Encore has a 1.4 L turbo engine and it's recommended that You use a SAE 5W-30 engine oil. The oil capacity for this vehicle iS4.2 quarts with the filter included. To keep Your engine clean and extend its life You should try to keep up with maintenance and change Your oil every 5,000 miles. If You decide to go with a full synthetic oil You can put it off until every 10,000 miles if You want but doing it more often is still recommended. While You should use the dipstick every so often to check Your oil levels, You'll receive a notification when it's time for an oil change to be done and You should try to get it done within 500 miles of receiving that notification. -
