The 2019 Chevrolet Camaro oil type and capacity iS5w-30 and 5.5 quarts. Your oil needs to be replaced eventually. Every 5,000 to 10,000 miles is a good rule of thumb. If You don't replace it, there will be issues with the engine. Having high quality oil is key for the engine to run smoothly. You will run into problems with the oil at some point. Bad oil can cause the engine to fail. A normal problem is a nasty burning smell. This needs to be looked into as soon as possible or the car might explode. You could experience terrible gas mileage. Knocking noise may come about from the engine.

The 2019 Chevrolet Camaro uses a full synthetic oil. SAE 5W-30 on the 4 cylinder and V6 engines, and 0W-40 on the V8. The 2.0L 4 -cylinder holds 5.5 quarts if you have the engine cooling system and 5 quarts if you don't. The 3.6L V6 holds 6 quarts the cooling system and, 5.5 quarts without it. The 6.2L V8 engine has the capacity to hold 10 quarts.

The 2019 RS takes 5.5 quarts 5w-30 or 6 full quarts if your V6 has an oil cooler. Hope this helps
