The capacity for the truck iS6 quarts with a filter for the 2.7 L 4Cylinder and the 4.3 L V6 and 8 quarts with a filter for the 5.3 L V8 and the 6.2 L V8 engine. You should change the oil and filter every 7,500 to 10,000 miles or so. The cost of a change is $40 to $50 in labor costs and extra for parts cost. It only takes about 5 to 20 minutes to do an oil change.

I have e 2019 Chevy Silverado high country. It take 9 QTS with 6.2
I accidentally put 5w-20 in my 4.3l. V-6 Custom Silverado. Can I run this for the week in Arizona 95° temperatures?
