Are there any 2011 chevy traverse power steering pump recalls?

There are not currently any active recalls on the power steering pump for a 2011 Chevy Traverse. There are a lot of complaints about the power steering system though and Chevrolet is aware of the problems that exist with them. For that reason Chevrolet has decided to extend the warranty on the components in case they do fail. Manufacturers usually only issue a recall when they determine that a certain percentage of parts are failing. In the case of the power steering pump here they just do not have enough of them failing to get a recall. If Your power steering pump fails now under the extended warranty then a Chevy dealership will change it free of charge.
