The 2012 Chevy Equinox exhaust manifold has not had a recall but has had a TSB bulletin fix for a problem with the Exhaust manifold cracking. The manifold has a leak and it can be a potential problem because it will leak on a hot surface which could start a fire. If You have had this problem You can take it into the dealership to get it fixed at no cost if the vehicle meets the specifications such as under 120k miles. The cause for the crack is from extra pressure on the manifold due to a clogged catalytic converter. The cost for a replacement exhaust manifold will range from $100 - $175 depending on if its an OEM or aftermarket part.
My wife is at the dealership now, and they said there is an exhaust sensor recall.
