The 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander does come standard with isofix. Isofix has become a pretty common thing to have on vehicles since it was introduced as a safer way to anchor car seats into cars. The isofix system is a much stronger way to hold a car seat in a car. In the past car seats had to be installed using the existing seat belts and they were not as safe as being able to connect it directly to a solid piece like the isofixBar. If You are having trouble installing Your car seat You can always visit a local fire station. They will usually install any car seat in Your vehicle for free because they want to support the safety of You and Your baby.

Yes, the vast majority of passenger cars built since 2002 have the ISOFIX standard car seat anchors. It is required by law in many.
