Very Reliable SUV
Very good SUV, I'm still driving mine and I bought it brand new in May 2007. It has never broken down or cause me any issues at all. I've only done maintenance on it and it runs well. I still get pretty good millage even though it is 13 plus years old. I hope to get another few years out of it yet. I am at 315,000 KM and I live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada.

Amazing. That all that I can say.
My vehicle is amazing. I hadn't have problem with the car. I really love it. I bought this car used; but in good conditions. The vehicle has good power and it is secure. If I have the opportunity I would buy another one. Another one new. I love the big vehicle in the Mitsubishi outlander has the excellent dimension to my family.

It's a great mid size car, seats fold down to make more room
I love the size of it and that fact it's great on gas. I havent had to have much maintenance on it. It's very dependable

They are made very very well, with a lot of pride.they are all over the world, and they have a good overall quality
I like the four wheel drive,i like the interior,i like the looks, the motor has a lot of pep. I dislike that the radio has stopped the play of AM

The car has a noisy engine, almost like a sports car. If you're into that sort of thing. I like my Mitsubishi in the color I have
The window still needs to be fixed because the dealership didn't tell me that it didn't work. But other than that I love my car.

It is a reliable and safe family car!
Comfortable seats! Perfect amount of space and storage for a family of 4. Drives so nicely, suspension is not rough or bumpy but you still get that keep feel. Very comfortable and cute!

It runs great. It's in great condition.
I love my car. It's old but still runs very good. The only thing I wish it had is a way to connect my phone

Mitsubishi outlander xls is an incredible SUV.
Super comfortable seats with heat. Sunroof and accessories are all very nice. Roomy yet compact. I can fit 5 children comfortably!! Leather interior, easily foldable seats and good on gas. Audio system is of excellent quality and many different outlets for charging.

I hate mitsubishi vehicles
My girl freind bought a 2007 outlander awd n about 6 months later the transmission went out so I ordered one and when i went to put it in the front crossmember wad rotted out so I tried to get from dealer n they dont sell or make them no more so i looked on line n found a couple for rite around 500 dollars I wound up finding one for like 250 so I go to change all that n let me tell you I hate Mitsubishi I will absolutely never buy or work on one of these ever again in my life they are junk hard to work on and way to expensive for what they are I have more money in changing the transmission than she paid for the piece of s**t

Crappy made car that always has problems.
My car is horrible. I've had nothing but problems with it. The sway bars had to be replaced, my catalytic converter is messed up. I get a recall notice for the car about once a year. It's ridiculous. I would never recommend a Mitsubishi to anyone. I wish I never bought it. It's a waste of money.

Junk! Purchased new. I didn’t drive it much so the warranty expired and I had to pay for some expensive repairs that would have otherwise been covered. I now have 54,000 miles and have spent over $6,000 to keep it running. It now needs the struts replaced for the third time. Have had 3 brake jobs. ABS hydraulic pump replaced $1800. Bottom radiator hose replaced $600. Too much to list. Just a bad car.

Good car, parts hard to get.
The biggest problem with this vehicle is getting parts. The nearest Mitsubishi dealer to me is over 50 miles away. Thankfully it's been a relatively good car without many breakdowns.
accountCircle Ariel J
It was extremely reliable up until 150k miles.
It has jerky acceleration. Higher than average road noise. Parts are difficult to obtain for repairs. Due to its age, repairs are constant.
accountCircle Sandra W
It was reliable. It lasted for years without any issues.
It has run fine for several years. Everything messed up at one time with the engine. It gets me to work and back home only. It is on its deathbed.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Arlene B.

4 Wheel drive, good for family outings and comfortable. Cons are the 4 wheel drive. I am not looking to purchase this vehicle again. It is a long lasting vehicle, great in snow or ice, decent gas mileage.

likeFilled Frankie T.

This vehicle is like three in one. It is got the room like a van for a family, trunk space like a car for tons of groceries,etc...And it has a little tailgate like a truck. I love this vehicle so much.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Arlene B.

The four wheel drive loses it is sensors which each wheel has its own individual sensor. Any one of the sensors can have a problem and needs to be replaced by a mechanic. The repair is costly for one sensor but all 4 sensors can go at the same time, which is a very costly repair.

dislikeFilled Frankie T.

The gas mileage in town is not great. I spend a lot more in gas then I would like. On highways and longer trips the gas held up a bit better but still not something I would brag otherwise it is a great vehicle!
