The 2000 Toyota Corolla doesn't have a cabin air filter. Being a sweaty mess is never a great time. That's why the air conditioner needs to be functioning. You will come across issues with this part at some time. An inaccurate thermostat might come about. The motor could become faulty. A fan might become loose. A nasty odor from the vents will cause problems with Your comfort. A Freon leak will make You sweat. You will come across a few annoying noises from the air conditioner. Loose mounting bolts will become a nuisance. A bad compressor will get noisy. Too much Freon will make this happen. These sounds need to be look into quickly or You will lose Your mind.

I bought a new 2000 Corolla CE 20 years ago... And there is no provision for access to any cabin air filter. The glove box does not appear to have any way to remove it simply that I can see.

We also have a 2000 Toyota Corolla CE. After taking out 3 philip screws on the top and 2 10mm head screws on bottom two corner of the glove box, it's not seeing the carbon air filter.

There is a filter for the toyota corolla 2000. Pop open the hood, and unclip the two metal clips located behind the car battery. Then replace the part for 17801-02030 Denso air filter.
