The 2003 Chevrolet Suburban doesn't have a cabin air filter. You will come across a few annoying noises from the air conditioner. Loose mounting bolts will become a nuisance. A bad compressor will get noisy. Too much Freon will make this happen. These sounds need to be look into quickly or You will lose Your mind. Being sweaty from the heat is never a good time. That's why the air conditioner needs to be in top shape. You will face issues with this part at some point. A smelly odor from the vents will cause problems with Your comfort. An inaccurate thermostat might come about. The motor could become faulty. A Freon leak will give You the sweats. A fan might become loose.

Yes, at least on my 2003 LS with dual-air does. I’ve actually replaced them, under the dash / glove compartment area.

No the do not 2003 Chevy suburban DO NOT have cabin filters. This was eliminated in this model year. If you take bottom molding off you will see the HVAC system has the area molded over. No filter! Waste of time and do not listen to the internet people saying there is one and to replace it. Had to ask GM Dealer. Surprised how many idiots post on internet when the 2003 does not have a replaceable filter!

Mine DID NOT have cabin air filters. Watched several tutorials that said they did and showed you how to change them but mine did not.

Yes, and they are very cheap to replace. They should generally be swapped out yearly, or more often in dusty environments.
