The 2006 Ford Focus radio does have an aux input. You will come into issues with the sound. The source could be from the stereo's speakers or a phone that is connected to the vehicle. Whatever the source, You will have to have these issues solved quickly. If the problems are from the stereo's speakers, it could be static sounds, randomly turns off, a loose wire, or a blown fuse. If the problems are coming from the phone, it could be that the software won't update, the device will not sync with the vehicle, the phone's battery is almost dead, or an object is blocking the signal.

My 2006 ZX5 with SE trim package does not have Aux Audio. Looks like aftermarket equipment will be required to bring it into smartphone connectivity, etc.

I can't locate the aux import to where I could plug in an auxiliary cord and attach it to my phone so if anybody knows where that auxiliary import is located please let me know cuz I have searched my car to no avail

The 2006 ford focus comes equipped with an auxiliary audio input jack standard for all trim levels.
