Yes! The 2007 GMC Yukon most certainly has a fuel filter. To access it, look around underneath the vehicle. Below the drivers seat side, You should be able to see the gas lines. These connect directly to the fuel tank. Trace them and see where they lead. This should take You to the fuel filter of the vehicle. If Youre still having trouble finding it, consult Your owner's manual. This should have a schematic diagram or at the very least, a section that helps You locate Your fuel filter. The Fuel filter serves as protection against impurities, rust and dirt, and directly protects Your engine from debris. This increases the overall longevity, as well as the performance of the car.

The 2007 GMC Yukon has a fuel filter. The fuel filter is integrated with the fuel sending unit (fuel pump).

What is happening is when I go to get gas I have to pump I have pump the gas really slow because if I don’t the gas will come back up out of the tank and I have idea why it is doing that.

I had the same problem with my truck. I drive a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali 6.2 L and it was throwing a few codes… P0449 I believe was one, but the two sometimes three separate codes all pointed me in the same direction! Evap system… mostly the vent valve solenoid. Open ground and or high voltage! It should only be receiving 5volts I think, it has been a while, so please don’t quote me, but either way. My quick fix (before actually repairing the entire problem) was simply creep under the back of the truck and you’ll see the harness, mine was the updated blue and red pigtail. I just simply unplugged it.which then allowed the vent to properly vent. Sounds like you may just have a stuck solenoid. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Sounds like a Vacuum issue with the tank itself. Call your local dealer service department talk with a service advisor. They will most likely know what's going on
