Honda began using an optional CVT transmission in the Accord in 2013. Shortly after, the Civic, Insight, Fit, and CR-V offered the technology. If the CVT is a feature that You're looking for, You'll be limited to newer model years. As such, the 2007 Honda Accord did not offer it -- it was available with Your choice of A5 speed automatic or A5 speed manual transmission. Most will agree that this is a good thing, since CVT transmissions, especially in their earlier years, were prone to failure. As You may well know, a transmission is one of the most expensive components on a vehicle to replace. Therefore, You may luck out with Your two different 07 Accord options.
