The 2008 Chevy Impala can come with a remote start. It is standard on the 3.5 and xl lines of the car, but it is not an option for the base trim. Aftermarket kits may be used to rectify this, but You will need to make sure the kit will work on an older model car. It may also void the warranty, but with the age of the car, this is likely not an issue.

The 2008 Chevy Impala can be available with a remote start. It comes standard on the LT w/3.5L, LT 50th Anniversary, LT w/3.9L, LTZ and SS trims. It's not available on the base LS.
You can buy them off Amazon . I just bought a set of 2 for$20 rather than spending $120 for one at AutoZone by the same manufacturer
